The legend of Storage Wars star Barry Weiss only grows with time. Fans were stunned to find that Weiss who left the show on A&E over eight years ago returned to kick off season 13. Weiss confirmed that he is back bidding wars with the rest of the cast of the show. He made his return to primetime with style, as he rolled up in that vintage classic car as only Barry Weiss would.

As exciting as it is to have a fan favorite in Weiss return to the program to shake things up a bit, have you ever wondered how he made his money? How he was able to afford everything? Essentially, where does it all come from? Did Weiss accumulate all that money from visiting various storage sites through the years or did he earn his money a different way, Outsiders?

How Did Storage Wars Star Barry Weiss Make His Money?

Well, he earned it a different way. Weiss has a brother and that and himself worked in the produce industry for decades before Weiss changed course. Yes, the net worth of Weiss is around $10 million. It stems from his days working with his brother in the produce industry. Interesting, huh?

However, collecting things has always been a staple of Weiss’ life. He notes that he started collecting antiques at the young age of 15-years-old. He may not have started out as a Storage Wars aficionado and worked in an entirely different industry before making the jump, but it’s clear Weiss always had the vision and the passion to make this second act of his work.

It’s especially cool to see how he will fit into the newest season of Storage Wars. A lot has changed, and Brandi got off to a hot start in the opening episode of the new season. Weiss will have his work cut out for him. It’s certainly fun and interesting to have him back in the fold.

What’s Next for Storage Wars and Barry Weiss

Two years ago, Weiss was involved in a horrific car accident that led to an extended stay in the ICU. He had gruesome injuries that resulted in femur and back surgery. Even with those rough injuries sustained from the accident, Weiss is apparently no worse for the wear. He is back on the fan-favorite A&A show for what looks to be the foreseeable future. Only time will tell if he’s going to thrive once again. Remember, Weiss is known as “The Collector” on the show. The name fits as he has been collecting things, like antiques, forever and that doesn’t appear to be stopping anytime.

You can watch the new season of Storage Wars on A&E at 9:00 PM EST. It stars characters like Barry Weiss, Brandi Passante and much more. What will happen next week, Outsiders? We don’t know, but we’re excited to find out.
