Months have already passed since former “Impractical Jokers” star Joe Gatto announced his departure from TruTV’s hidden camera television series. And now, amid the latest season, episodes of “Impractical Jokers” have gone missing from various streaming sites. Fortunately for fans of the show, we have the scoop here.

After Gatto shared news of his departure, “Impractical Jokers” episodes starring the fan-favorite comedian suddenly disappeared. According to Looper, their disappearance could be due to potentially controversial subject matter.

As per the outlet, the “Impractical Jokers” episodes that have gone AWAL include season four’s ninth and 24th episodes, season seven’s 12th episode, and season eight’s 16th and 25th episodes.

Dedicated “Impractical Jokers” fans will never forget the season seven episode “Bull Shiatsu.” There, we saw Joe Gatto literally seated inside of a massage chair. The challenge came as a “punishment” for Joe after losing the most challenges to his costars within that episode. While “Bull Shiatsu” is likely one of “Impractical Jokers'” most memorable episodes, Looper points out that the challenge saw Gatto passing out “handsy massages[s]” to unsuspecting strangers within a mall.

Another missing episode missing from the “Impractical Jokers” lineup is season nine’s “The Dream Crusher.” In it, Joe is challenged to kiss a stranger in the food court of a mall.

The missing episodes are definitely interesting. Joe Gatto is not the only “Impractical Jokers” star to find himself in these kinds of invasive and personal punishments.

‘Impractical Jokers’ to Feature Various Guest Stars Following Gatto’s Departure

“Impractical Jokers” has returned to screens with new episodes following the announcement of Joe Gatto’s departure. Gatto was a crucial part of the comedic series for nine successful seasons. However, the remaining stars, Sal Vulcano, Brian “Q” Quinn, and James “Murr” Murray, continue to work to fill the void.

According to a previous report from Deadline, new episodes of “Impractical Jokers” will feature celebrity guest stars. So while we’re missing a third of the Tenderloins quartet, the guest stars provide an all-new aspect to the series.

The first guest star to appear on the show following Gatto’s departure was stand-up comic, Eric Andre. The first all-new episode without Joe Gatto debuted earlier this month, on Saturday, April 2nd.

It’s hard to imagine “Impractical Jokers” going forward without Joe. Often, he was the instigator for many unscripted challenges and iconic TV moments. Nevertheless, his departure comes in connection with the betterment of his family life.

At the turn of the new year, Gatto wrote on social media, “I just wanted to let you all know that I will no longer be involved with Impractical Jokers.” He shared, “Bessy (Gatto’s wife of eight years) and I have decided to amicably part ways, so now I need to focus on being the best father and co-parent to our two incredible kids.”
