It is night two of the Jeopardy! Professors Tournament. Host Mayim Bialik shared some great words tonight about educators.

Bialik has already shared how much she enjoyed hosting the tournament. The sense of kinship and camaraderie was apparent according to the host. Now that fans have seen day 2 of the tournament, she has said more about the spirit of education and those that teach.

Jeopardy! shared the quote on their Instagram. Check that out below.

The quote says, “I grew up believing that teachers were not just people who taught things, but people who guided you in your journey in education and in life.” That was coupled up nicely with the caption. It reads, “Teachers and professors, thank you for guiding us through school and life! #ProfessorsTournament Click the link in our bio to hear Mayim’s full interview.”

The Professors Tournament is a contest featuring 15 educators from universities and institutions around the country. Almost all subjects are represented from math to science, English to history, and more. It is going to be a competition for $100,000. However, school bragging rights, as well as professional bragging rights, are up for grabs.

Jeopardy! has never done the tournament before. It is also showing off Bialik as the host of the special events. That was the plan before there was so much controversy around the hosting decisions.

‘Jeopardy!’ Mayim Bialik Returns As Host, Some Want Ken

One constant thing that we are going to hear from some fans is that they would prefer this host over another one. Even when Ken was hosting, some wanted Bialik to be the host. Now that Bialik is back behind the podium, fans are asking to see Jennings back as host.

This really is such a strange phenomenon. However, that doesn’t change the fact that fans have their preferences. Jennings has been hosting the regular shows for about a month. Right now, he is taking a break due to the Professors Tournament. Jeopardy! champion Amy Schneider is set to return when Jennings does.

It might also be the fact that folks want to see the 13-day champ continue her streak. A two-week break is quite a long time for viewers. Watching Schneider run these games and win a lot of money at the same time is so fun! Her game is bold and smart and has fans wanting more.

When you pair that up with the Jeopardy! GOAT hosting those games, I guess I can see where fans are coming from. However, Bialik has been doing just fine behind the podium. Each host is going to just get more comfortable as time goes on.
