Keanu Reeves managed to find time to have a most excellent reunion with one of his former movie co-stars. Outsiders, who could it be?

Reeves, who is out this December with a new Matrix movie called The Matrix Resurrections, crossed paths with Alex Winter. You know, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure. Well, let’s get the inside information on this with some help from London’s Daily Mail.

Both of them got together for a 2020 film, Bill & Ted Face the Music. It marks the third movie in the franchise for Reeves and Winter.

Reeves, 57, and Winter, 56, met up with their partners on Friday night in Los Angeles. Reeves was with his partner, Alexandra Grant; Winter was with his wife, Ramsey Ann Nait.

Keanu Reeves Sees His Matrix Character Neo Return From The Dead In Latest Film

Bill & Ted Face the Music received positive reviews from critics upon its release. It went to theaters and through video-on-demand during the lockdown in 2020.

It was a follow-up to Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure in 1989 and Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey in 1991.

Keanu Reeves has his character, Neo, return from the dead in this latest Matrix installment. It hits screens in January 2022.

Also on Friday, Reeves spent time being interviewed virtually by BBC talk-show host Graham Norton.

He talked about Neo’s resurrection.

“Hopefully people will enjoy it — it’s very exciting, and it was an extraordinary experience to make it,” Reeves says to Norton.

The Matrix Resurrections, which will be released later in December, follows Neo while trying to live a normal life as Thomas A. Anderson.

Also, there have not been any plans announced for a fourth installment in the Bill & Ted film franchise. Still, seeing Keanu Reeves hang out with Winter will get some fans starting to play their own air guitars.

Actor Chose To Not Be A Part Of One Of Movie Industry’s Biggest Franchises

You know, we have mentioned two movie franchises in The Matrix and Bill & Ted. Keanu Reeves could have been a part of a third, the Fast & Furious films, but chose not to go that way.

What happened with it all?

We get down to the nitty-gritty of it during a 2019 interview with Screen Rant.

Dwayne Johnson reveals that Reeves did get offered a role in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.

“So, for some time, I think you guys have heard the rumor that it was going to be a bit of a John Wick, all disguised,” Johnson said. “But then we left it there [with] a few people in mind.”

Johnson also confirms that, yes, Reeves was the goal. “We were talking and it just didn’t feel right creatively,” Johnson said. “He and I talked. And I totally got it.”
