The second the clock struck midnight on Thanksgiving, the mood in the air changed for a lot of people. The jingle bells in the distance and the whistle tones from Mariah Carey didn’t feel so far anymore. That’s because this day typically marks the earliest socially acceptable time period to whip out those stockings and set up the tree.
You know exactly what I’m talking about. ‘Tis the damn season (respectfully of course). Ainsley Seiger of “Law and Order: Organized Crime” just celebrated the occasion herself with a stunning new photo posted to her official Instagram page.
In the photo, she rocks a glam look put together by her hair and makeup team (both are tagged in the caption). And staying true to her Jet Slootmaekers character, the “Law and Order: Organized Crime” star sticks to a fully black ensemble.
Check it out:
Sure, the look might seem a tad moody. At the end of the day, though, it also demonstrates an age-old secret: a little sparkle never hurt anybody. Keep that in mind as you dig out the tinsel from your attic. And you know why? Because ‘Tis the Damn Season.
Her Advice for the Upcoming ‘Law and Order: SVU’ and ‘Law and Order: Organized Crime’ Crossover Event
Fans of the Dick Wolf franchise are bracing for the massive crossover event between “Law and Order: Organized Crime” and “Law and Order: SVU” taking place on December 9th. Did we mention that it marks the return of ADA Barba? Or the fact that his character is representing the Richard Wheatley?
The special shows the Wheatley plotline come to a massive boil as he appears in court for the trial of the murder of Elliot Stabler’s wife. It also teases his ex-wife (Tamara Taylor/Angela Wheatley) taking the stand, despite the poor condition Richard left her in following the spring finale of the series.
One fan shared a photo of Ainsley’s Jet Slootmaekers character wielding a tablet and giving a presentation on “How to prepare for the SVU and [Law and Order:] Organized Crime crossover” on Twitter. They then tagged Ainsley asking for her advice.
You can catch the tweet here:
Seiger hilariously shared the photo to her Twitter page and offered up this not-so-helpful advice. It reads: “absolutely none i want to watch the tl burn atop my throne of indifference.” The “tl” refers to her “timeline” or “feed” on Twitter. In other words, she’s telling fans they’re on their own ahead of the highly-anticipated special.
