‘Law & Order: Organized’ Crime Boss Talks Stabler’s Return to Normalcy

by Joe Rutland

For fans of Law & Order: Organized Crime, Elliot Stabler is back on the regular beat. What, though, does that mean for him?

In an interview with Yahoo! Entertainment, showrunner Ilene Chaiken talks about Stabler, played by Chris Meloni, leaving his underground job.

“Well, firstly, his reentry of course doesn’t come at the end of these eight episodes,” Chaiken said. “It begins in the next episodes, once that case is over.

“And it’s going to be fraught, as it’s bound to be, given what Stabler has been through, given that he’s lived in a violent and borderless world and also that he’s suppressed his own identity for so long,” she said. “We all acknowledge that he was hiding a bit and you can’t really hide from yourself, so he’s going to have to face himself.”

Stabler’s role in the Albanian drug ring story ended on Law & Order: Organized Crime last Thursday. It found Kosa, Albi, and Flutura in custody. Reggie’s mother Agnes faces accessory to murder charges, too.

Now, Outsiders, we do know that Elliot has been having issues with Richard Wheatley, played by Dylan McDermott. That storyline might be picked up, but the show still has some things to present for fans.

Anyway, catch a new Law & Order: Organized Crime episode on Thursdays at 10 .m. Eastern, 9 p.m. Central, on NBC.

‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ Star Says He Has ‘Ton’ of Crime To Organize

Stabler’s back! So, what does Chris Meloni do on the show? Well, the Law & Order: Organized Crime star chatted it up with fans on Twitter.

Heck, even a few people got to trade tweets with him,

Now any of the Law & Order family of shows keeps in touch with its fans.

One fan asked, “Is there a lot of crime to organize?” It’s a clear reference to Meloni’s show.

Of course, Meloni had a perfect response, check it out here.

“Not to get technical here but there is a s**t ton,” he wrote.

Thankfully, the crew at Law & Order: Organized Crime will have their man Stabler back in the fold.

Bell and Benson have worried about their friend and colleague off and on during the season. Now, it appears that he is going to be safe from the Albanians.

Now, there could be something more nefarious lurking around the corner.

They have to come up with a new storyline. We know that Stabler even shaved his beard so business will definitely be getting hotter.

Fans will be watching to see if there are more crossovers planned with SVU this season. After all, Benson did really care about Elliot and his family this season. So, Outsiders, if you want to see what is going to happen between those two, then keep your eyes peeled on NBC.
