Viewers are used to seeing Chris Meloni play a hero of sorts on Law & Order: Organized Crime. On Sunday, he shared a photo of another hero.

Meloni, who plays Elliot Stabler on the NBC crime drama, posted the following pic to his Instagram account.

Hector Guadalupe is executive director of A Second U Foundation in New York City. According to his LinkedIn account, Guadalupe is an “Experienced Personal Trainer with a demonstrated history of working in the health, wellness, and fitness industry. Skilled in Kettlebells, Wellness Coaching, Injury Prevention, Athletic Training, and Yoga. Strong community and social services professional with a Passion for helping others and providing job placement for formerly incarcerated people looking to be personal trainers.”

It should be noted, Outsiders, that this vision and mission of Guadalupe does come from his personal story.

‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ Star Appeared With Guadalupe At Event

The Law & Order: Organized Crime star was at an event with Guadalupe on Sunday. That’s where Meloni took his picture with him.

A bit about Guadalupe’s own road to creating this foundation comes from its website.

“After spending 10 years in federal prison, I came home with a passion for fitness, in shape, and hungry for work,” his bio states. “I also came home to a lot of closed doors, and people not wanting to give me a chance, but I persevered and built a successful personal training business. I decided to help people that came from the same situation as myself, who needed an opportunity. Our entire program is based exactly on how I became successful on my own.

“A Second U Foundation works to make sure that people coming home are not defined by their sentence, but given the tools need to be successful,” the bio continues. “We offer skills and guidance, while providing a community to support them, as they create careers and rebuild their lives. We are proud to be a part of their process.”

For fans of Meloni’s work, he’ll be back in 2022. The show aired its Christmas episode on Dec. 9, so any new ones from the Law & Order: Organized Crime world probably will not be on NBC until after Jan. 1, 2022.

Meloni Offers Some Good Words, Thoughful Comments About Mariska Hargitay

For anyone who has followed Chris Meloni’s career, then you know his path has definitely crossed with Mariska Hargitay.

But what does he think about her?

Meloni said in an interview with Glamour, “She walks the walk and she talks the talk. She’s a force for good at whatever she does, whether it’s being a mother or being an advocate or being an actress or being a friend.”
