‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ Fans Are Reeling After a Stunning Betrayal

by Jonathan Howard

In the big crossover episode of Law & Order: Organized Crime fans were treated to a huge surprise that has left many feeling betrayed.

This was the big episode where we would see Richard Wheatley stand trial for his crimes. The death of Elliot Stabler’s wife has left his family in turmoil. His son was framed for a murder and Stabler had to deal with that in the last episode as well. However, it was an interaction with Angela Wheatley, Richard’s ex-wife, that had fans gasping in surprise.

Those that have kept up with the Wheatley saga know that Angela was hit with a nerve toxin attack. It supposedly left her weak, both physically and mentally. Seargent Ayanna Bell visited her a while back. Then, fans got a sneak peek at her condition before the new episode this past Thursday. Angela looked even worse than she did in the hospital!

Stabler and Bell decide to visit Angela and her daughter Dana before the proceedings in court. Fans expected the Tamara Taylor character to perhaps switch her allegiance. After all, it seems like Richard is the one who got her in this situation, to begin with. However, after meeting with the NYPD officials, Wheatley did the unthinkable.

She started walking. And not the hobbled and lame walking she had been doing. She was upright and was just fine it appears. The Law & Order: Organized Crime villain even told her daughter to lay low for a while. At least until Richard has another plan in place. Now, that is enough to drive some fans absolutely crazy.

‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ Fans React to Angela Wheatley’s Lies

While a large group of fans was taken by surprise, others said they had a feeling something was wrong with the mob wife. That whole Wheatley family might be rotten to the core. Going through Law & Order: Organized Crime fan reactions, there is at least one user who thinks the entire family is bad.

“I knew it!!!” the fan, Cathy tweeted. “I knew shady Angela was playing everyone!!! Wheatley family is evil to the core!!!” With all those exclamation points, Cathy feels very strongly about the situation.

Another fan joked that this performance was worthy of an award. “She’s an icon, she’s a legend, and she is the moment.” No arguments here.

One of the best parts about the Angela Wheatley saga on Law & Order: Organized Crime has to be how much Taylor enjoys playing the character. The actress got the chance to talk about her character and what it meant to her playing the role.

If you ask Taylor herself, she was excited to play this villain character. It is one of the things that makes the show so interesting and fun.
