‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ Star Chris Meloni Wishes Son Happy 18th with Striking Family Resemblance Photo

Dante Meloni, son of Law & Order: Organized Crime actor, Chris Meloni turns 18 today! His father wishes him a happy birthday in the sweetest way.

Recently, the former Law & Order: SVU actor posted a picture to his Instagram page wishing his son a happy 18th birthday. The father of two poses with his arm around his only son. Are we the only ones who see the resemblance between the two Meloni men?

The caption reads, “18 today. I love you young man- heart and soul and everything in between.”

Many fans join the fun by wishing the actor’s son a happy birthday. “A very Happy Birthday to you, Dante! Welcome to Adulting 🍺 You made it, Dad!” Another fan wrote, “Aww happy bd to ur boii.”

While one fan pointed out that Dante has more hair than his father, another fan begged Meloni to keep his beard. What do you think, Outsiders? 2022, or 90s Christopher?

During an interview with HollywoodLife, the actor talks about his family.

Meloni has two children, Dante, and a 20-year old daughter named Sophia. He shares the two with his production assistant wife of 26 years, Sherman Williams. The couple first met in 1989 on the set of a television show.

During a 2014 interview with USA Today, Meloni described his style of fatherhood. “I think my kids would call me a little crazy. I’m very physical, very affectionate. I’m also very disciplined and focused on education. That’s one thing that was instilled in me, one place in life where there’s no compromise. What works for me is empowering my kids. I remember not having any power when I was growing up. Power helps kids mature, and it requires critical thinking on their part.”

Chris Meloni and Mariska Margitay Remain Friends

Although the Marauders actor has moved on from Law & Order: SVU and has pursued his show, he is still friends with an old coworker, Mariska Hargitay.

Last month, Hargitay took to Instagram to share a recent photo of herself and Meloni. Back in May 2021, he spoke with People Magazine about the years spent working with Hargitay. “She brought her game. I brought mine. And I liked the results.” He also discussed working with her after he departed from SVU. “It was Pavlovian: Ring that bell, and you get right into Stabler and Benson.”

Hargitay piggybacked off her former coworker’s words. “He’s always made me feel like I could jump off the ledge, the cliff, the bridge, and he would catch me. In so many ways. Whether it was a comedy or acting or friendship.”

We love to see Chris Meloni and Mariska Hargitay still in each other’s lives as both friends and coworkers. We only hope to see more of the pair on their shows.
