‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ Star Danielle Moné Truitt Celebrates Her ‘Man Crush Every Day’

by Suzanne Halliburton

Law & Order: Organized Crime star Danielle Mone Truitt loves to show off the man in her life.

And the actress who plays Sgt Ayanna Bell on the show celebrated #MCM (Man Crush Monday) by devoting an entire post to Jeremy Earl.

The Law & Order: Organized Crime star wrote: “Is #MCM still a thing? Well this is an appreciation post for my Boo Jeremy Earl. I just want to brag about the food this guy makes. I mean the man can COOK!!! (And) I appreciate all those times I got off work and was dead tired and you had a hot plate ready for me!”

A man who can cook sounds heavenly. Truitt continued: “Like one time I said I had a taste for Ramen and this man when to the store, bought fresh ingredients and MADE RAMEN!! He had never even made Ramen before!! You really are THE BEST! Thank you for taking care of me. Just a whole meal that be cookin’ good meals!  #ManCrushEveryday”

Sgt. Bell Kept Stabler From Blowing Cover in Law & Order: Organized Crime

Law & Order: Organized Crime fans know Truitt as the tough sergeant who can take down a mob. She’s also the partner of Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni). In the first chunk of season two, Stabler worked undercover, using the alias of Eddie Wagner. Stabler was investigating the Kosta organization, an Albanian crime mob that wanted to take over the drug trade of NYC.

Truitt’s Bell constantly needed to help Stabler from having his cover blown. Jon Kosta, the mob boss, was ruthless. He cut out the tongue of one of his lieutenants just to prove a point about loyalty.

The last new Law & Order: Organized Crime episode, which ran Nov. 11, featured the arrests of all the Kosta organization members. Bell was there with Stabler to take down both Albi and Flutura Briscu.

But at the end of the episode, which was called Ashes to Ashes, Bell found herself with new problems. She met with Nova, who was working undercover with the Marcy Killers. Nova told her that Congressman Kilbride definitely is involved with the gang. He also bragged he was cultivating a relationship with an unnamed police sergeant who would have his back. That’s Bell.

Next Story Arc Set for Dec. 9

The next Law & Order: Organized Crime episode is Dec. 9. It’s called The Christmas Episode. And it sets the table for another story arc with Richard Wheatley (Dylan McDermott). Plus, both Bell and Stabler will have a new boss — Sgt Bill Brewster (Guillermo Díaz).

Law & Order: Organized Crime showrunner Ilene Chaiken talked with TV Line to discuss the new office dynamic. First, it probably will be difficult for Stabler to adjust to being himself, not Eddie. And, will the new boss be problematic?

“It also opens the door for a new and even more challenging relationship with Stabler and Bell, now that he’s officially their boss,” Chaiken said. “Their former boss was a somewhat crotchety, but actually warm, individual whom they both trusted. And it remains to be seen whether they can trust Brewster.”
