Law & Order: Organized Crime star Danielle Moné Truitt recently shared a heartfelt tribute to an old friend after reconnecting. Truitt plays Sergeant Ayanna Bel on the hit series. She talked about her friend in a new Instagram post.

“Reconnected with some very special people tonight. I’ve known them since I was 3. I was the flowergirl in their wedding (SWIPE for those incredible photos) Brian played Pro Baseball with my Dad and Wendy was like my 2nd God Mom and a real life Claire Huxtable!” she wrote. The photos from the wedding are truly adorable.

In the post, the Law & Order: Organized Crime star talks about something important: how even if you don’t keep connected, some love just doesn’t fade.

“Funny how you can not see some people for years but the love never goes away. It was hilarious hearing stories of how I was when I was a small child. I still remember the bond Wendy and I had and how much I wanted to be just like her. I’m so happy we reconnected at this stage in my life,” she continued. “God truly knows what we need and when to give it to us!”

Truitt’s been incredibly busy filming Law & Order: Organized Crime it’s one of her first big roles, but that still hasn’t stopped her from reconnecting with old friends and being there for the family. In fact, she recently flew all the way from new york to California and back in a few days to celebrate her child’s birthday.

She’s also got to work with some really interesting people. From Elliot Stabler actor Chris Meloni to Wheatley actor Dylan McDermott, she’s had some cool co-stars. Now, an actor from Netflix’s You is joining the cast.

Law & Order: Organized Crime has already seen some truly dangerous villains this year. Now, they’ve added yet another bad guy to the roster. This time, they’ll welcome Robin Lord Taylor to the Law & Order: Organized Crime cast.

He’ll play Sebastian McClane, a hacker that goes by a codename, Constantine. Constantine will become a big problem after several high-profile criminals get released from a high-security prison.

“He sets off a chain reaction of events that both Wheatley and Stabler swirl around. And he’s just a really cool character who I’m really looking forward to bringing to life,” Ilene Chaiken, Law & Order: Organized Crime‘s showrunner, told Give Me My Remote.

But while this new arc is definitely interesting sounding, there’s still a bit more to go before new episodes air. Law & Order: Organized Crime comes back in early 2022.
