‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ Star Just Joined Cast for Season 9 of ‘The Blacklist’

Later this month, you will be able to find a star of “Law & Order: Organized Crime” appearing on another popular television series.

According to Yahoo! News, that star is Diany Rodriguez. She played the character of ADA Maria Delgado in the popular NBC spinoff. For her new television role, the actress is staying with the NBC family and taking on a role in “The Blacklist.”

That popular series stars James Spader. Christopher Meloni leads the cast of “Law & Order: Organized Crime.”

So, what character is former “Law & Order: Organized Crime” actress Diany Rodriguez playing in “The Blacklist”? While much about the character is not known, the name of the character has been released. That name is Weecha Xiu.

How this new character will figure into the plotline of upcoming episodes of this series remains to be seen. However, a description of the character has been shared. Weecha Xiu has been said to be “more than capable of defending herself.” She also has a “tough physical presence and a hardened demeanor.”

Fans will just have to tune in to watch the new season of “The Blacklist” when it returns. It will be the show’s ninth season.
