Car guy and actor Vinnie Jones had some fun recently, and the “Law & Order: Organized Crime” star proved that a Land Rover beats a Lamborghini.

What’s that, you say? Well, not on the road. In this Saturday’s Instagram video, a Lamborghini gets stuck in the mud. Another person drives what may have been Jones’ Land Rover SUV. The SUV had attached a rope to the stuck car.

See, this is exactly why you get an SUV. There’s always that one luxury car owner that needs a tow.

Vinnie Jones captions the video, “Not sure what @lamborghini was thinking .. luckily @landrover was about to save the day!”

Jones narrates his clip, saying the Lamborghini owner told him it had off-road (or 4×4) on it. The actor laughed and said a tractor wouldn’t go in that field.

As the Land Rover looks to help out, Jones adds that everyone hopes the rope doesn’t break. The actor roots on the SUV, yelling that “it’s gone on and done it.”

Jones turns the camera back on himself and yells, “Lamborghini, up your a**.” He jokes that there’s the villain as the Lamborghini continues to back out of the mud.

Finally, the 56-year-old Jones jokingly asks the man if he wants to buy his Land Rover. One Jones fan commented on the post, saying, “Irony…the founder of Lamborghini started off building tractors.”

Vinnie Jones Knows His Fancy Cars

The “Law & Order: Organized Crime” star is a car enthusiast. In 2018, The Sun featured his car collection. Jones even had an eco-friendly Range Rover Sport P400e.

The article mentioned that Jones also had his 1995 Land Rover Defender 110 restored. The star told the paper that he “paid seven and a half grand for it, f***ing old rust bucket it was. I just wanted to cut the roof out to shoot a few rabbits.”

But one thing led to another, and the car kept getting updates. Jones revealed that “insurers have valued it at 150 grand. It’s my pride and joy.”

The former soccer star and actor started acting in 1996’s “Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels” and is known for his gangster and thuggish roles. He’s also starred with Brad Pitt in “Snatch” and Nicholas Cage in “Gone In 60 Seconds.”

Jones Gets Rough With One Car On Set

According to HotCars, Jones had one memorable scene involving a luxury SUV in “Gone In 60 Seconds.” Maybe that’s why he didn’t drive the Land Rover?

The 6-foot-2 Jones played Sphinx in that Cage film, a quiet but imposing character. In one scene, the character stole a Hummer H1 truck. As he makes a getaway with a fellow car thief from the top floor of a parking garage, the men encounter police in an Oldsmobile Cutlass going down the ramp.

Spinx rams the car down the ramp, and it’s Jones pushing against a stunt driver in the Cutlass.

According to the script, Jones was to push the car out of the way in the escape attempt. However, the “Law & Order: Organized Crime” star got “too excited” and pushed the car clear over the ramp and into the entrance lane five feet to the ground. The director loved the scene so much that the accident stayed in the film.
