Tonight is the big night when Law & Order: Organized Crime returns from hiatus. It seems Richard Wheatley is back to his old tricks.
Just when we thought that the Wheatley arc might calm down, the infamous criminal is now back in a big way. In a preview of the upcoming night of Law & Order, there is a lot going on. From Olivia Benson and the Special Victims Unit taking care of their own issues to the Organized Crime unit being faced with a harsh reality.
Dylan McDermott plays the role of Wheatley so well. He is just so good at being bad. To get fans just a bit more excited, Mariska Hargitay shared a trailer that shows the season is back and in a big way. L&O Thursday is back and we at Outsider can’t wait. There are bombs, escaped convicts, and everyone’s favorite mobster.
Check out the video that was posted on Twitter below.
The trial of Richard Wheatley did not go as Elliot Stabler might have hoped. Now, it seems that he will have to work with the man suspected of murdering his wife. Wheatley seems to be smug and content with the mind games he continues to play with the NYPD OC unit.
Law & Order: Organized Crime fans are going to be all about this episode. There is an investigation being done in conjunction with the FBI. Wheatley is involved. So, the sparks will fly.
While it is clear that Stabler isn’t on board with the task at hand, Wheatley is all about it.
“Unlike you, I don’t hold grudges,” Wheatley says to the Detective as the trailer ends. Something tells me that isn’t completely true. If Richard isn’t careful, his ex-wife’s cover is going to be blown soon.
‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ Shows Wheatleys Aren’t So Clever
If you watched the midseason finale of Law & Order: Organized Crime then you already know the situation. For those that don’t know, Angela Wheatley has been faking her injuries. While the ex-wife of Richard thought she could keep up the rouse forever, it seems that her lying is coming to an end.
Her goals are clear. To cause chaos. The problem is that we don’t know who we are going to see her mess with. It could be Richard, it could be Stabler, and it could be Ayanna Bell. Angela has strung Bell and Stabler on with her fake injuries.
There isn’t a whole lot known about the new episode tonight. We do know the episode is titled Nemesis. And the synopsis reads: “When a notorious cybercriminal escapes a high-security prison, Stabler must team up with an unlikely informant. Kilbride takes Nova under his wing.”
So, Law & Order: Organized Crime is getting into cybercrimes. Angela’s lies are coming to an end. And Richard is going to be an informant working hand-in-hand with Stabler. The rest of the season is sure to be exciting.
