Elliot Stabler said Richard Wheatley was making a fool of law enforcement last Law & Order: Organized Crime, he wasn’t wrong.

It turns out Stabler was more right than maybe even he wanted to be. Wheatley was in on the team tasked with finding and stopping a hacker that had broken out of prison. Apparently, Wheatley has a knack for this type of thing.

It turns out, however, that he was in on it the whole time. “Man stars fire, man takes credit for putting it out,” he said last week. It also appears that he and his ex-wife Angela are closer than Law & Order: Organized Crime fans might have thought previously.

Now that Wheatley is out and about walking freely, he is plotting more and more. In a new teaser for this week’s episode, the mobster says that he wants to burn New York down. If there is anyone that could do that, it’s Richard Wheatley. His money and connections know no bounds. Is Stabler going to be able to stop his arch-nemesis? Check out the video below and see for yourself.

According to Richard, Elliot Stabler ruined his life. So now, it is clear that the fan-favorite bad guy is wanting to ruin the detective’s life as well. Stabler’s elderly mother calls him in the trailer video and says someone was at their home. Then, the detective had his gun up to Wheatley’s neck threatening him to stay away from his family.

Law & Order: Organized Crime fans love the Wheatley/Stabler saga. It appears that Richard is able to avoid arrest and suspicion at every turn. However, his luck can’t last forever. Stabler is going to be hard on his case for as long as he is outside of a jail cell.

‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ Wheatley’s Rampage of Revenge

One thing that Richard Wheatley is looking for, revenge. He is angry at Stabler, angry at the justice system, and he’s looking to take that out on society. Looking at the trailer for the episode, he almost seems like a Batman villain. However, there is no billionaire superhero in this story.

With a hacker under his wing and tons of other resources, Wheatley is taking on the torn fabric of society. It looks like he has hacked ATMs, other computers, and has sent the NYPD on a frenzied chase for answers. He may have scorned his father’s last name, but the mob boss is doing everything in his power to make his family proud.

One thing about Stabler on Law & Order: Organized Crime, he loves the city that he protects. With Angela and Richard working against him, and the city basically on fire, does he have any answers? The chaos is going to rain down on the city. How long can Richard avoid accountability?
