While we wait for the newest episode of Law & Order: SVU fans are debating what is next for the show’s newest couple.

At the end of the last episode, we saw Amanda Rollins and Dominick “Sonny” Carisi get together finally. Now viewers are worried about their new power couple. A concerned fan on Reddit asked the populace to set their mind right.

“Convince me I’m wrong please,” u/Zealousideal-Arm9163 posted. “I have a horrible feeling that Rollins and Carisi finally getting together means one of them is going to die at the end of the season – my gut says it’s going to be Sonny. I didn’t have any evidence for this theory, but it just feels suspicious… thoughts? Convince me I’m wrong in the poll pls.”

Luckily for this Law & Order: SVU fan the others were able to ease their mind. Out of 115 votes over 80 of them went to “you’re overthinking,” on the poll they made.

“Lol,” u/Pleasant_Animal replied. “I’ve never once thought this but this post has me worried now. Praying you’re wrong they don’t need to kill off a main character in order to make the season interesting.”

However, the good news is for Law & Order: SVU fans shouldn’t worry too much. The writers aren’t all that big on killing characters off. Especially big-name characters. It takes away the chance of having a return in the future.

There is something else that fans would like to see. A little more Olivia Benson would be great. Viewers, of course, love Benson and are always going to want to see more of her and her story.

‘Law & Order: SVU’ Viewers Want to See Benson Open Up More

Law & Order: SVU has been all about Benson for a long time. She isn’t always the main subject of an episode. However, she has been around the longest so it makes sense. There is a feeling that sometimes she is just a law enforcement officer solving crimes, not a person with dynamic changing emotions and feelings.

“It is one of Benson’s darkest and lowest points,” a Reddit user said. “In where essentially she transformed into Elliot’s rage to beat the crap out of Lewis for what he did to her, and at this point, Stabler’s curiosity about his partner would’ve prompted him to look into her past, if anything just to know how she’s been over the years.”

With Organized Crime and Law & Order: SVU having so many crossovers and being intertwined, there is a lot of stories to tell. Stabler and Benson are a duo and potential couple that fans love. While they have not actually been “official” fans are hoping that maybe something will come of it in the future. January is when SVU comes back.
