“Law & Order: SVU” star Mariska Hargitay posted an adorable photo of her son and a Halloween moment as her Flashback Friday photo.
The star and mom of oldest son August posted a photo when her son was so small and probably a year old. The young boy has his hands over his face with a pumpkin to his right side.
Wow, time flies, right? August Hermann is now 13. The 57-year-old Hargitay also has two younger adopted children.
In 2018, Hargitay told People magazine she was a better parent because of her kids. She said they taught her how to “really listen.”
According to Hollywood Life, August has shown up on his mom’s social media before. She hates missing things in his life due to her career and is jealous other parents can take their kids to school and pick them up.
Hargitay said it’s hard to go to August’s school and not know the parents because she can’t be part of their community. But she’s happy to have him in her life.
‘Law & Order’ Actors Hargitay, Meloni Close
It’s hard for Hargitay to give up her acting life and her role as Detective Olivia Benson. Since 1999, she’s won Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe awards during her time as Benson on “Law & Order” and “Law & Order: SVU.”
Over the years, Hargitay’s on-screen relationship with Christopher Meloni has attracted viewers. Their tricky working relationship has propelled him into television stardom as well for more than 20 years.
After 12 seasons on “SVU” as Detective Elliot Stabler, he’s brought his character to the “Law & Order: Organized Crime” spinoff. And there’s been talk of the two getting together on the show this season with an exciting promo. In it, there are some feelings Stabler seems to show for his former partner.
Both actors are separately married, but many fans think they play so well off each other that they could be. And they love to post pictures of each other together, especially to tease episodes or seasons.
Hargitay captioned her photo with Meloni using the following hashtags.

Law & Order: SVU’ Top Ratings for Premiere
In its Season 23 premiere on Sept. 23, Law & Order: SVU was the top show with 5.5 million viewers tuning in for the two-hour episode. Hargitay has to be happy about that. But there’s more on the horizon.
The Oct. 7 “One More Tale of Two Victims” episode will mark the 500th of the show. Former Detective Nick Amaro, played by Danny Pino, will return along with Kellie Giddish (Amanda Rollins) for the special event. Digital Spy reported that Pino’s role is not defined, saying his return could be a one-episode appearance or a comeback.
Meloni’s “Law & Order: Organized Crime” season 2 premiere came in third with 4.32 million viewers.
