‘Law & Order: SVU’ Star Ice-T Looks Back on Epic Halloween Costume With Wife Coco

by Joe Rutland

Anyone who keeps up with “Law & Order: SVU” star Ice-T knows that he loves his wife, Coco. In fact, he’s sharing some pics of them. They go back to previous Halloween costumes both have worn.

Ice-T went on Instagram and decided to let his many fans see how the couple dresses up.

Take a look as he and Coco Austin offer some, well, medical uniforms for inspection.

Ice-T and Coco have been married since 2002. They have one child, Chanel, born in 2015. For a number of years, the couple had a bulldog named Spartacus in their family.

Sadly, Spartacus died in 2016 after he suffered complications from knee surgery. He was 6 years old.

‘Law & Order: SVU’ Star Has Been On NBC Police Drama For 22 Seasons

The acting career of Ice-T, born Tracey Lauren Marrow in 1958, continues to roll along thanks to “Law & Order: SVU.” He’s been playing Odafin “Fin” Tutuola on the NBC police drama for 22 seasons. He’s currently No. 2 in seasons on the Dick Wolf-created spin-off in the “Law & Order” franchise.

Who’s No. 1 on “SVU” in episodes? That would be Mariska Hargitay, who has been on there entering the show’s 23rd season.

For Ice-T, his film breakthrough happened with “New Jack City” in 1991. Other movie roles came his way and the rapper grew his cred on the big screen.

He’s still making music, too, and performing live in concert. Obviously, Ice-T makes sure he’s on the set for “Law & Order: SVU.”

Outsiders, we’ll have to see if he posts any new photos from this upcoming Halloween of him and Coco. We’ll keep you posted, too.

Ice-T Was Not Originally Supposed To Have Regular Role On TV Show

It’s quite unique to know that Ice-T was not supposed to have a regular role on his TV show.

We say his TV show but, obviously, it’s him, Hargitay, and others on “Law & Order: SVU.”

Maybe there are some people who wonder why in the world he’d hang around on TV for this long.

The rapper likes the vibe.

“When people ask how I can be on a show for so long, I say, ‘It’s easy,'” I-ceT said when talking with TV Insider. “Everyone on the show is very cool, no one has harsh words, and Dick Wolf’s checks clear, so it’s nice work.”

So, how much does he get from the show? Ice-T reportedly earns $250,000 an episode. Add that to his Oxygen show called “In Cold Blood” and you have a couple of big wins career-wise for him.

If anyone thinks he’s going to leave “SVU” anytime soon can think again. He’s staying there for the long run.
