We all have our own ideas as to how to achieve success, Ice-T, star of Law & Order: SVU is no different. In a recent Instagram post, the longtime star of the NBC show revealed what it takes to succeed in the world today.

The photo features a quote that reads, “If you can’t handle people talking **** about you, you can’t handle success.” Essentially, part of what comes with fame is not universal adoration. The more the success, the more folks might criticize you. What Ice-T is saying is that it comes with the territory. That if you cannot handle that sort of thing, then success is not going to be easy for you.

Fans agreed with the message on the page with one fan writing in the comments, “That’s true cold facts.”

Another fan wrote, “That’s motivation for me to go EXTRA HARD..‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️.”

Fin And Stabler Reunite on ‘Law & Order: SVU’

A lot has been made about the return of Stabler to the Dick Wolf Law & Order universe on NBC. Especially the return of Benson and Stabler on-screen with one another like it’s the early 2000s all over again.

However, Fin and Stabler were not the friendliest of coworkers on the program back in the day. Benson may have been close with Stabler, but Fin certainly was not. Fans remember the animosity between the two detectives.

Was Fin cool with Stabler’s return? Ice-T said to Hollywood Life, “Fin’s cool with it.”

He went on to say, “People say, oh, you and Stabler went at each other. I’m like, that was 15 years ago. Of course, in the writing, they’ll say, okay, you guys push up against each other. But I think they did that just to let people know that Fin wasn’t going to back down. They were building my character, not so much that I hated Chris, but they just wanted to see somebody that wouldn’t back off. Story-wise when you see the show you’re going to see I talked to Stabler first. Stabler’s actually been contacting me, so you’ll see how it plays out.”

It’s water under the bridge for Sabler and Fin now. Their issues back then were issues back then. Fin was a strong character that pushed back against him. There was a mutual respect there, though, that even though they may not have always gotten along they did still respect each other as detectives.

There was a lot of crossover with the duo’s personalities whereas with Benson and Stabler it was an opposites-type situation for them. Benson had skills that Stabler did not have and vice versa. Like Ice-T revealed, though, it was a long time ago and with how Stabler was brought back into the fold everything is fine between the two stars of the program.
