We all have our reasons for why we do the things we do. Our inspiration is innate and it comes from different things from different people. There is no right or wrong reason for why you get after it each day. For Ice-T, the star of Law & Order: SVU, he revealed why he works so hard on his personal Instagram page.

In the Instagram post, Ice-T shared a photo of his daughter and how she got treated to a Spa Day. He wrote, “Why I work so hard….. @babychanelnicole Spa Day!”

Fans loved the note and the message behind it. One fan wrote in the comments, “Pretty in pink!!! Adorable little girl! Blessings!”

Another fan wrote, “I can see her in u. #IcePrincess”.

Ice-T on ‘Law & Order: SVU’

Ice-T is a legend for a multitude of reasons. His character, Fin, on the program is just as much of a legend. Especially with Stabler out of the picture for a decade now, it has been cool to see Fin stick around and keep things moving in the right direction on the NBC drama. However, Fin and Stabler never had the best relationship on the show. It did not always go well when the two had to work and play nice with one another. There are a lot of fan theories as to why that is, but with Stable not back in the fold from time to time on the show, it is fair to wonder if the tensions between the two will rise once again.

Ice-T told Hollywood Life, “Fin’s cool with it.” And there you have it.

He continued, “People say, oh, you and Stabler went at each other. I’m like, that was 15 years ago. Of course, in the writing, they’ll say, okay, you guys push up against each other. But I think they did that just to let people know that Fin wasn’t going to back down. They were building my character, not so much that I hated Chris, but they just wanted to see somebody that wouldn’t back off. Story-wise when you see the show you’re going to see I talked to Stabler first. Stabler’s actually been contacting me, so you’ll see how it plays out.”

Time changes everything for Fin. Yes, the two had their issues as Ice-T points out here, but that was in the past. Part of his character as Fin is somebody who will step up to Stabler when he’s wrong. He has always been an intimidating presence in that regard. So, it makes sense that Fin is OK with Stabler returning temporarily because although they may not always see eye-to-eye they always respect each other.
