Losing a beloved pet is never easy. Especially when they’ve been a part of the family for a long time. “Law & Order: SVU” star Ice-T reminds us all how precious love and life is in a new social post.
The TV actor took some time to share a post to his Instagram and Twitter about his family pet which recently passed away. The family man is always candid about his young children and his daily adventures with them. “Law & Order: SVU” Actor Dubbed ‘Philosopher King’ on Set
While Ice-T is shelling out words of wisdom about life and love, this is no new routine for him. According to several cast members, the actor often gets a bit philosophical while filming. He takes the time to break down scenes and explain them so that others can understand. He does this in a way that’s earned him the nickname “Philosopher King.”
In a recent interview, actress Mariska Hargitay explains how Ice-T got his nickname.
“He goes on his philosopher rants,” she said. “Everyone gathers around because the way he breaks everything down is clear and simple. He takes all the complex and whiny stuff out of it, like, ‘Here’s the deal.’ And in 19 years, I’ve never seen him in a bad mood or raise his voice.”
That’s a pretty great reputation to have as a person and actor. Especially coming from Olivia Benson herself.
