‘Law & Order: SVU’ Star Peter Scanavino Hilariously Reveals a Skill Carisi Is Great At

Law & Order: SVU star Peter Scanavino recently revealed a funny skill that his character, Carisi, is great at. Scanavino has been on the series since 2013 and has made quite the impression as Carisi since then. He’s now a very important and well-established part of the show, which has been on air since 1999.

In a recent interview with TV Line, the Carisi actor talked about a funny skill the character has. They talked a lot about Carisi’s new relationship with Rollins, and the moment where Carisi is cooking Rollins pasta and talking about a case.

TV Line noted how impressive it was that Carisi was able to cook without getting his pristine white shirt dirty at all.

“He’s a clean cook, you know what I mean? He knows how to avoid the splatter. He doesn’t crush the tomatoes unless his hands are submerged, and he knows all the tricks,” Scanavino joked.

Carisi and Rollins got together at the end of the Law & Order: SVU season 22 finale. And while their relationship is being kept a secret, for now, there’s still been a ton of fun “Rollisi” moments in season 23 so far. Scanavino really loved the fact that the two got together. To him, it felt like a really natural progression for their characters and was very “earned.”

“I like the direction that they went in. It didn’t feel forced to me. It felt very earned. So, yeah, I mean that was kind of my reaction. It was exciting, because it’s also character development, as well,” he explained.

Rollins and Carisi will have plenty more moments heading into the special Law & Order: SVU and Law & Order: Organized Crime event.

In the Next Episode of ‘Law & Order: SVU’ Carisi Faces an Old Friend

In the next Law & Order: SVU episode, Carisi sees an old friend in court… working as the defense attorney for Law & Order: Organized Crime villain Richard Wheatley. Carisi will have to directly face his old friends, and they definitely may not be friends as the night goes on.

The Law & Order: Organized Crime and Law & Order: SVU crossover event will be a great two hour event. The second episode of the night is simply titled The Christmas Episode and will see Elliot Stabler and Olivia Benson working together on a very important case. Fans can probably expect development in that relationship.

The crossover event begins tomorrow, Thursday, December 9th, at 9/8 Central on NBC and then lasts until 10 pm central. After the crossover event tomorrow, both shows are going on a break until 2022.
