Matthew McConaughey is on the star-studded cast of the movie Sing 2. That cast also includes U2 frontman Bono.

There aren’t many duos that could stand up to the star power of McConaughey and Bono. Honestly, they are two beloved figures and very good friends.

While at the premiere of the movie in Los Angeles, the movie star talked about his role in the upcoming film. He also talked about some mystery duets that he has performed with the international superstar. Variety was able to catch him on the red carpet during the event and asked him if he had actually sung with Bono in the film.

“Not in this movie,” McConaughey said. “We’ve sung in other places, but not in this movie.” When the interviewer pressed the actor a bit, he said, “Oh that’s no, I can’t tell you any of that. That’s nobody’s business.” Check out the video below.

Matthew McConaughey has done more in his life than we can all likely imagine. It is amazing what he has done that we know about. However, these secret duets with Bono have me wondering what he’s done that we don’t know about. Is there any question you could ask him that he wouldn’t say, “Oh yeah I’ve done that,” because I’m not sure there is?

Since he has done so much in life, it might be good to take some of his advice from time to time. For the married folk reading, McConaughey gave the secret to his happy marriage.

How Matthew McConaughey’s 10-Year Marriage Works

The Dazed and Confused actor knows a lot about a lot. When you have done as much as he has, there isn’t much you aren’t prepared for. When it comes to marriage, Matthew McConaughey has a basic secret that will help any couple.

While it isn’t a long and complicated answer, it is a sound answer.

“Don’t make a straight line crooked,” he said. “If things are going well, keep catching green lights. If they’re not, deal with them soon so they don’t bubble up and get you later.”

Basically, don’t fix something that ain’t broke and never go to bed angry. Those pieces of advice have guided many couples through their relationships. The actor has been married to his wife Camila for almost 10 years now. He’s picked up a few lessons during that time.

“I’ve got a wife who challenges me. There were two movies I wanted to do last year. But they were back-to-back with no separation. She was like, ‘You want to do it – buck up, grab your nuts, and make it happen. We’ll be there with you.’ Papa goes to work, the circus goes with him…”

The wisdom of Matthew McConaughey remains sage and sound advice.
