“NCIS” star Emily Wickersham is toasting motherhood with her first cocktail since being pregnant. She is a happy new mom.

“NCIS” alum Emily Wickersham is officially a mother. On December 30th, the actress and her partner welcomed Cassius Wickersham Dale into the world. After a long pregnancy, it is time for her to celebrate.

In a new Instagram post, Wickersham posts a series of photos drinking her first cocktail in 10 months. Dressed to match her spirits, the “NCIS” star happily poses with her full glass. The drink appears to be an old-fashioned.

“First cocktail in 10 months Oooo la la,” she writes. Fans are toasting to her happiness in the comments.

“You earned it😮👏👏👏👏congrats,” one fan writes.

“I bet it tasted better than anything ever!!! Congrats mama!!” another comments.

Meet Cassius Wickersham Dale

The “NCIS” star and her boyfriend James Badge Dale are excited to show off their baby to the world. On New Year’s Eve, Wickersham gave fans a first look at their new family.

“Welcome to the world Cassius Wickersham Dale born 12/30/21 just in time to join the party to ring in the New Year,” she says. “You are more than @jamesbadgedale and I could ever have imagined ❤️
We are so in love with you”

The slideshow includes pictures of both mom and dad holding their sweet baby boy. Fans and friends are excited to see the woman behind Special Agent Eleanor Bishop look so peaceful.

“Emily! Badge! CASSIUS! I’m so incredibly happy for you guys and your new family. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ God Bless,” Christine Evangelista says.

“Oh what a lovely way to start this new year 🥰 big congrats,” Tyler Nilson writes.

Saying Goodbye to ‘NCIS’

Special Agent Eleanor Bishop has not made an appearance on “NCIS” since the Season 18 finale. While some fans believe that Wickersham’s pregnancy has something to do with her leaving the show, nothing is confirmed. After posting a reflection on Instagram, it sounds like the actress wanted to pursue other projects.

“Hangin this hat and jacket up. What a great ride it’s been,” the caption begins. “This cast, this crew, are top notch. I can’t say enough kind words about this group that I’ve had the pleasure of working with for close to 8 years now and 172 episodes later. This business is finicky and weird and consistency is a rarity. I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of a show where I got to show up and act and laugh and learn with wonderful people. A moment in time I surely won’t forget.”
