This time of year is all about the holidays. It’s no different for folks in Hollywood, like NCIS alum Emily Wickersham. Wickersham may have left the show, but fans still miss her and her time on the CBS drama. So, it was so sweet that the NCIS alum showed off her baby pump and posed with her boyfriend on Christmas in some new pictures. The pictures were posted to her personal Instagram.

Fans loved the post with the happy family. One fan wrote, Merry Christmas Emily and James lots of love for you and your family.”

Another fan of NCIS wrote, “Merry Christmas love that you’re a fellow Dylan fan and wishing your [sic] both good luck on your pending arrival.”

When Gibbs’ Wife Joined ‘NCIS’

One of the more crazy moments on NCIS, especially before Gibbs left the show in iconic fashion was when Mark Harmon’s wife was able to fill in and guest star on the program before he left after a historic twenty-year run.

She told EW, “The show has been on for a hundred years, and they have come at me a few times. Either I just didn’t want to do it or I didn’t appreciate what it was they wanted me to do. Or it was near Christmas and it was like, ‘I can’t do this. I’ve got my parents coming into town.’ I just haven’t been interested in, you know, chasing the business. At this age, that’s what you do. You’d have to really want it. I just don’t want to put myself out anymore. You know the old song, “I haven’t got time for the pain.” Then I guess they had created this character Marcie. Mark didn’t tell me about it. Suddenly I have an email from my agent and I was like, “Oh, poor Harry, my poor agent, here we go again. I’m going to turn him down.”

The Fallout

So it was really cool for everyone involved on NCIS. This was not something that was planned. It had to be the right kind of role for her. It ended up being the right kind of part, and she just got the part. Mark knew the part would work for her and it did.

She concluded, “And he goes, ‘Well, you might want to read this.’ I guess they were running names for who they could bring in for it and Mark said, ‘You should be talking to my wife about this character.’ The character is so good. I just fell in love with what they wrote. And then I had anxiety like, ‘Oh my God, am I going to do this?’

It was a big move for her. As it was not an easy shift. It was ultimately a beautiful moment for the program and a great ending for Mark Harmon on NCIS.
