“NCIS” has spotlighted several fan-favorite characters’ homes and apartments over its 19 seasons. However, none have debuted so prominently as show patriarch, Leroy Jethro Gibbs. Since the procedural series kicked off in 2003, fans have seen a host of “NCIS” characters head to Gibbs’ home.

Trips outside of the squad room have seen characters show up there for work discussions, protection detail, and, even, final showdowns with criminals. Now, in one hysterical Reddit thread, “NCIS” fans have pointed out an interesting detail regarding Gibbs’ home. And no, it’s not a lack of interior decoration.

Like many longtime “NCIS” fans, one Redditor has watched each season and episode of the series several times over. In doing so, they took note of the fact, “I have been watching this show since day one and seen every episode four times.”

They continued with, “one thing that has crossed my mind is Gibbs would have a hell of a time if he tried to sell his house.” A strange query, but how come?

“[A]ll the bodies over the years…I’m sure most of the dead are in classified files but you still have to disclose that when you sell a house.”

As a longtime “NCIS” fan myself, I can’t say this particular issue has crossed my mind. Although now that it has, I can’t help but think of all the “to-the-death” showdowns and self-defense situations that led to more bodies dropping in various rooms throughout Gibbs‘ home.

‘NCIS’ Alum Teases Fans with Cryptic Post

While fans surely miss the iconic face of Leroy Jethro Gibbs in the hit show’s latest season, longtime fans often reflect on the earlier departure of beloved character, Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo.

Michael Weatherly’s iconic “NCIS” character sadly departed the team way back in season 13. Six seasons later, however, we still see the iconic actor making references to the beloved show on his social media pages.

The latest captured the DiNozzo actor, presumedly, from an earlier episode of “NCIS” behind the scene. He paired the throwback photo with the most cryptic of captions.

“This guy woke me up this morning,” Weatherly began the post, referencing the photo of himself as DiNozzo. “Then I realized it was still a dream. He wouldn’t stop talking about Gibbs. And his shoulder holster.”

He then followed the Tweet with a humorous, and very Gibbs-like, interrogation of his Christmas tree, as he sported an “NCIS” ballcap.

Despite our wildest and most fervent hopes and dreams, no word has been released regarding any beloved “NCIS” alum returns. Nevertheless, considering the frequency with which Weatherly tweets about and references “NCIS,” we can only assume he misses his role. And it’s clear fans still miss him.

Perhaps Outsiders will receive some kind of Christmas miracle that signifies a long-awaited very Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo return.
