How sweet. The NCIS: Hawai’i social media team teased show fans with all the friendly faces in the cast.

There was Jane Tennant. And Kai, Lucy and Jesse. The only friendly face who was missing belonged to Ernie.

The NCIS: Hawai’i Instagram account posted the photo gallery with the caption: “A few friendly faces from the best team on the island.” They should probably add the group also is very good at dropping the bad guys.

Check It Out: Monday’s NCIS: Hawai’i Episode Is ‘Rescuers’

The show is teasing Monday’s new episode. It’s called “Rescuers.” The plot summary from CBS: “When a Navy petty officer is murdered, Jane and the team investigate while protecting the victim’s friend and colleague.”

All those friendly faces on the NCIS: Hawai’i team will be trying to find out who killed a Coast Guard rescue swimmer. A 15-second episode tease shows Jane Tennant (Vanessa Lachey) talking about how the body was dumped in a different location. In other words, whoever murdered the guy, killed him somewhere else. Then you see the petty officer’s girlfriend. A voiceover wonders whether the girlfriend is “definitely hiding something.”

Of course, the NCIS: Hawai’i crew checks out the girlfriend’s home. The front room of the house is covered in pink teddy bears. Jesse (Noah Mills), asks “Is she a victim or a suspect?”

So far, the audience likes this rookie show. NCIS: Hawai’i is winning its time slot against non-football shows on Monday nights, with the showing following NCIS. Last Monday’s episode attracted 5.073 million. However, that was the smallest audience, so far. The audience of NCIS also suffered its smallest audience of the season. Both series broadcast new episodes after showing reruns the week before.

Yasmine Al-Bustami, Who Plays Lucy, Celebrated Her Birthday Last Week

Meanwhile, another one of those friendly faces enjoyed a birthday celebration this week. The show wished Yasmine Al-Bustami a happiest of birthdays, Thursday, and asked NCIS: Hawai’i fans to give her a special shoutout. Al-Bustami plays Lucy. The actress is originally from Abu Dhabi, but grew up in Dallas. With that diverse background, it’s no wonder that she lists brisket, queso, pansit and hummus as her favorite foods.

Lucy also is evolving into a fan favorite. NCIS: Hawai’i watched last Monday as Lucy enjoyed some romance with Kate as the two ended the episode with a kiss.

The show’s social media account promoted the developing relationship between Lucy and Kate (Tori Anderson), who is her counterpart in the Defense Intelligence Agency.

In the NCIS: Hawai’i premiere, the two enjoyed a very hot scene. Lucy came to Kate’s house, unannounced. She wanted to apologize for reading some confidential info in one of Kate’s files at the office. They ended up in a hot embrace. But last Monday’s ending was very sweet and wistful.
