If you’re reading this, you made it to Friday! End of the work week. And sometimes, just getting through is all you can do. With a little bit of Friday motivation, “NCIS: Hawai’i'” star Vanessa Lachey is sharing some inspiration with all the fans.
As a reminder of how strong you are, the “NCIS” franchise shared a message from the show’s star today. Lachey reminds everyone that “you’ve got this” through a tweet. A little encouragement definitely goes a long way. Whether it was a stressful week at work, balancing kids and career, or just generally tough to get to today, the “NCIS: Hawai’i'” star is here to get you through.
“Just a little reminder: you got this. You may not think you do, but I promise, you do,” Lachey says, directing her words into the camera.
And hey, Lachey balances a full time television career, kids, a husband with a busy schedule and living on an island. So if she can do it, so can you!
Nick Lachey Selflessly Supports “NCIS: Hawai’i'” Star and Wife Vanessa Lachey
While the move to Hawaii may not seem like it was a tough decision, both Vanessa and Nick Lachey made the choice to move to the island together – which is something they prioritize as a couple. The two have said they always want to put their family (including their three children) first. So when Vanessa Lachey got the role on “NCIS,” she wanted to make sure it was a family decision.
On Nick’s view of the opportunity and his wife’s leading role, he said:
“It’s an incredible honor for her. She’s embraced the responsibility of what that means to take on that kind of a role and she’s loving it. [She] worked [her] entire career for this moment. This is her moment, which is why we’re all here to embrace this opportunity with her and to see what she’s doing and see how she prepares for this day in and day out, how much she cares about her cast mates and crew and the way she takes care of them. She’s an incredible person and this is her time to shine. It’s very cool to be on the sidelines watching that happen,” he said during an interview with ET.
However, the move has proved to be positive for the family. Nick Lachey says the kids have adjusted just fine to the beach life.
“You wake up to this every day. You look out the window and see this and surfers and waves and sunrise. It’s paradise. You worry about your kids, and they just hit the ground running. They love it here, they love their school, they love their new friends. When you look at the whole thing, it couldn’t have gone much smoother than it’s gone,” Lachey said.
