“NCIS: Hawai’i” teases fans with an image from its new episode. The “beautiful moment” premieres this Monday at 10/9c.
Fans are enjoying the new CBS spinoff, “NCIS: Hawai’i.” As the newest edition to the “NCIS” franchise, the show is still in its first season. It is important now more than ever to peak viewers’ interest. With so many other successful spinoffs, it can be difficult for fans to feel connected to a new one. Because of this the network itself is starting to run advertisements of new episodes in-between the original “NCIS” airings. However, the show’s social media team is doing a great job teasing what is to come.
In their latest Instagram post, “NCIS: Hawai’i” shares two images in a slideshow. It depicts what looks to be Navy officers, as well as some other characters. Vanessa Lachey’s role, Jane Tennant, stands right beside them. With an American flag waving in the wind, the characters are looking out into the distance, as well as up into the sky. Their facial expressions appear solemn.
The caption reads “A beautiful moment on an island buzzing with history. Don’t miss an all-new episode of #NCISHawaii, Monday at 10/9c.” Clearly, this caption teases fans of what is to come in this all-new episode.
While there is still uncertainty, the episode description answers some questions. The ceremony being pictured is observing the 80th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor bombings. The case that surrounds this day in history sounds surprising. This explains a lot about the images.
“The NCIS team investigates a cold case involving WWII-era bones on the 80th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor bombings, and are shocked to learn they belong to a 100-year-old survivor of the attack,” the description reads.
Fans can watch the episode this Monday, December 6th at 10/9c on CBS.
