“Having a great shared birthday w/ @VanessaLachey on the set of @NCISHawaiiCBS today – thanks for all the love. #NCISHawaii,” the actor wrote.

The attached photo of the two celebrating is absolutely adorable. Also, the cake looks delicious.

By the way, Vanessa Lachey happens to share a birthday with her husband, Nick.

Vanessa Lachey’s Husband Says Supports Her ‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Career

Vanessa Lachey’s got a ton of support in her corner. Following landing the lead on NCIS: Hawai’i, her husband and family moved out to Hawai’i so they could be with her during the long months of filming. Now, they’re living in Hawai’i and Nick Lachey has said he loves supporting her. Not to mention, he gets to live in Hawai’i.

“It’s an incredible honor for her. She’s embraced the responsibility of what that means to take on that kind of a role and she’s loving it. [She] worked [her] entire career for this moment,” he said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. This role is a bit different than the other roles she’s gotten in the past. It’s her first big lead in a drama. And he knows how important this is.

He’s not just proud of her for landing the role either, but of how she treats the cast and crew on the show.

“This is her moment, which is why we’re all here to embrace this opportunity with her and to see what she’s doing and see how she prepares for this day in and day out, how much she cares about her castmates and crew and the way she takes care of them,” he continued.

NCIS: Hawai’i is currently on a hiatus over Thanksgiving. Fans have been waiting for the show to come back for a while now, and are anticipating its November 29th return. When it does come back, it airs every Monday night at 8/7 Central on CBS.
