There are a collection of heartwarming and exciting festivities that take place throughout the month of December. ‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Digs Up the Past in New Episode

So while the upcoming episode of “NCIS: Hawai’i” promises an increased focus on the anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack, we also wanted to explore what exactly takes place ahead of the beautiful moments captured above.

Previews of the Monday night episode see Special Agent Jane Tennant and Cyber Intelligence Specialist Ernie as they sort out the details of a murder that took place 80 years prior. Interestingly, their clues lead them to a victim who is very much alive. In fact, we learn he’s actually to be honored at the upcoming Pearl Harbor remembrance event.

However, true to “NCIS: Hawai’i” fashion, what ensues next is sure to be interesting. These kinds of investigations have definitely taken place on “NCIS” before, however, to work a case this complicated with days, or even hours, ahead, will surely prove difficult.

Further, the upcoming “NCIS: Hawai’i” episode marks a milestone in the new series’ history. “NCIS” and its senior spin-off, “NCIS: Los Angeles” have seen a host of tribute episodes before. However, the Pearl Harbor episode which debuts Monday night marks the first time “NCIS: Hawai’i” will feature such a prominent historical event.

Be sure to check out the brand new episode on CBS Monday night at 10 p.m.
