Things are getting intense on “NCIS: Hawai’i” in the upcoming episode, titled “Lost”. The episode airs tonight, January 3. Apparently, the team is investigating a shipping container found full of weapons. In a new trailer for episode 10, someone loads up a rocket launcher and attacks Kai in a scrapyard. He leaps out of the way in time to avoid the explosion, but there’s no telling what will happen next.
Also in the episode, it looks like Jane is dealing with a moral dilemma regarding her son and his friend’s dad. She has the choice to arrest him but knows that the friend will move away and her son may turn against her for it. Is justice for a crime worth the possible strained relationship with her teenager? I’d say yes.
We recently had an episode dealing with the anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack, titled “Impostor”. After that episode, the show went on a holiday hiatus.
“Impostor” focused on a WWII veteran who wasn’t quite who he said he was. He was still a hero, he just did all his heroics under a different name. The team found the 100-year-old bones of Ken Ito in a cave, except Ken Ito was still alive and kicking. Turns out, Ito was really a man named Suzuki Kazutoshi. He was in a boat with Ito when Ito was killed, and when the boat washed ashore, the OSS found Kazutoshi and thought he was Ito. Kazutoshi went along with it for a chance to serve in the U.S. Military.
‘NCIS: Hawai’i’: Lucy and Kate Return
“NCIS: Hawai’i” Twitter revealed that fan favorites Lucy Tara and Kate Whistler will return to the show. The two have been together since the very first episode, where they shared a sweet kiss. Since then, they’ve revealed that they want to stay together, but that they need to keep their relationship more or less a secret. They don’t want it to affect their work.
The tweet featured a clip from the new episode. “NCIS: Hawai’i” captioned it, “Your favorite duo is back! More #KACY coming your way.”
In the clip, Lucy catches up with Kate to tell her she made reservations for dinner. Kate responds with a worried, “Oh.” Lucy says, “I know you’re nervous about people at work finding out about us, but I will be shocked if anyone we’ve ever met is at this restaurant.”
“It’s because it’s fancy, right, not because it’s gross?” Kate asks. Lucy says, “Yes,” and Kate is willing to give it a try. Lucy seems like she has more planned for them, but her phone rings, and she has to leave. Kate has a little smitten smile on her face as Lucy leaves. The two are honestly goals.
