Lachey and her TV crew will be back at it on CBS after the first of the year.

‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Star Did Ask Husband Nick Lachey If He Wanted Part On Show

It seems only fair that Vanessa Lachey asks her husband Nick if he’d like to be a part of her show.

The NCIS: Hawai’i lead actress talked about this in an interview.

So, at one point, things heated up between Tennant and Joe Milius, played by Enver Gjokaj.

She said in an interview with The Talk that a new romance is definitely brewing between them.

“They want to include the personal stories and the lives of our agents and what makes us tick,” Lachey tells Amanda Kloots.

Now she adds a little real-time reality to the chat.

“The good captain looks a little like Nick,” Vanessa Lachey said. “Ya know, just gonna say.”

So, she really wanted Nick to take the role.

“I was like, ‘Babe, do you want this role?'” she told Kloots. And his response was “so cute.”

Nick Lachey told her, “I don’t know how to be anyone but me.” That was a no from him, but Vanessa is all good with it.

Vanessa Lachey Had New Book Released In Late November

Besides her work on NCIS: Hawai’i, Vanessa Lachey had been working on a book. Now, the book was released in late November.

It’s titled Life From Scratch: Family Traditions That Start with You.

She made the announcement on Instagram.

The caption was so cool that she wrote with the photo.

“It’s officially NOVEMBER, my favorite month!!! It’s mine & Nick’s Birthday on the 9th & Thanksgiving week started our VERY 1st tradition as a couple 15 years ago!” she writes.

“TODAY is #NationalAuthorsDay! (It was on Nov. 2.) Which is perfect since my book about ‘Family & Traditions’ comes out Nov 30th!
