NCIS: Hawai’i is teasing an update to a fan-favorite relationship in tomorrow’s episode. The show, which aired earlier this year, has a couple of romantic relationships in the storyline. But the one between Lucy Tara and Kate Whistler is a fan-favorite.
And it looks like something’s coming their way. Hopefully, good things.
“Waiting for a #Kacy update? Don’t miss an all-NEW #NCISHawaii, tomorrow at 10/9c,” the Instagram account for the show wrote in a new post. The photo shows the two walking side by side, maybe even on some sort of case together.
Lucy and Kate started on complicated terms. It was revealed in the first episode that the two had a bit of a fling, but weren’t really interested in pursuing things. But they couldn’t stay away from each other and after a couple of episodes, they wound up deciding to try and make a relationship work. For now, however, they’re trying to keep it a secret.
Part of what fans love about Lucy and Kate is they’re so fascinatingly different. Lucy has a bunch of youthful energy and enthusiasm while Kate is really straight-laced and dedicated to her work. It’s created conflict, but nothing they haven’t been able to work through.
Fans are really hoping that whatever development happens is positive. Maybe they’ll decide to be more public with their relationship? It would be hard to see things fall apart.
The Next ‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Episode Investigates a Case From The Past
Since the team working in NCIS: Hawai’i is a part of the Pearl Harbor division, it makes sense that there’ll be an episode dedicated to it. The next episode follows the team investigating a murder victim, but not everything is as it seems.
A man whose DNA was found associated with a dead body claims to be alive, and the team has to unravel the mystery behind an 80-year-old murder. In a new preview for the episode, Ernie and Jane discuss the DNA resurfacing, and it looks like it could throw a wrench in the memorial.
Hopefully, we’ll also get more Romantic Moments Between Tennant and Milius. The two had some fantastic moments in last week’s episode. Tennant originally rejected Milius, but it looks like she’s finally come around which is great because fans are very charmed by actor Enver Gjokaj.
NCIS: Hawai’i s the third NCIS spinoff and the latest. It airs right after NCIS on Monday nights at 10/9 central. The show is, however, about to go on a winter hiatus so won’t be putting out episodes for much longer before Christmas. It’ll come back alongside NCIS on January 3rd.
