NCIS: Hawai’i fans recently weighed in on Jane and Joe’s big kiss in a new Instagram post about the show. The new NCIS spinoff, which is currently on hiatus, has been met with some mixed reception. But the storyline between Jane and Joe is a definite fan favorite.
The budding romance between Special Agent Jane Tennant and Joe Milius is something fans have really loved so far, and their big kiss in the most recent episode, Legacy, was met with positive reception. However, fans are worried about Joe’s future on the show.
The NCIS: Hawai’i Instagram account recently posted about the kiss, writing “Things were heating up on last night’s episode of #NCISHawaii, and we are here for it.”
“Don’t let him leave almost all ‘NCIS’ shows give us the couple we want when one of them is leaving but please don’t do that we want Jane and [Joe].” one fan wrote, “That was FABULOUSLY NICE.”
“finally you two,” another fan wrote.
“I loved the reaction to Alex, it was such an awkward moment, at the same time it was hilarious,” another fan mentioned. Right after, Alex found them which was very awkward for all parties.
Vanessa Lachey Moved to Hawai’i For the ‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Role
When Vanessa Lachey got the leading role on NCIS: Hawai’i, she and her husband had to make the difficult decision to relocate the whole family. Of course, moving is never easy, but living in Hawai’i has its perks.
“It was a talk that I had with my husband and I said, ‘What do you think?’ and…he’s like, ‘Hawaii, umm, it could be worse,’” she said in an interview. “And he was like, ‘This is awesome!’ I’ll never forget him saying, ‘This is your time and you’ve been there in the past for me.’”
And while it’s never easy to move with kids, it seems like their kids have adjusted just fine. In fact, they love the island life.
“I told the kids and they were gung ho because they think that Hawaii is water slides, play. I ask them all the time, ‘Are you happy or no?’ And they’re like, yeah! So they’re very happy here, they love it here. They’re island babies. I didn’t even realize I had island babies until I brought them here,” she continued.
Now, Lachey gets to live on the island with her family and go to work every day as the star of her own NCIS spinoff. NCIS: Hawai’i hasn’t been renewed for a second season yet. It’s done alright in the ratings but has struggled in the reviews. Hopefully, for fans of the show, it’ll get a renewal and come back strong in 2022.
