Katrina Law has been making a name for herself on NCIS as Jessica Knight. Law also appeared on Hawaii Five-O. Did she leave for NCIS?
Let’s check it out here, Outsiders. So, it appears that Hawaii Five-O was canceled before she started appearing on NCIS. The answer, then, is no, she didn’t leave another show while it was on the air.
It’s a pretty good deal if you can latch on to another show and stay busy.
Law plays NCIS Special Agent Jessica Knight on the CBS drama.
NCIS airs on Monday nights at 9 p.m. Eastern, 8 p.m. Central, on CBS. Besides Law, others in the cast include Sean Murray, David McCallum, and Brian Dietzen. Longtime cast member Mark Harmon left his on-screen role as Leroy Jethro Gibbs, but Harmon is part of the behind-the-scenes team.
Yes, it’s always possible that Harmon returns to his role. For now, though, he’s an executive producer.
The show had been a staple on Tuesday nights for CBS. This season, though, the network moved it to Monday nights so it can be a lead-in for NCIS: Hawai’i. That show is in its first season and Vanessa Lachey is the lead actor in the cast.
‘NCIS’ Has Fun With Photos Of Katrina Law, Wilmer Valderrama on Twitter
Never let it be said that NCIS doesn’t like to play with its fans’ emotions just a little bit.
Recently, the people in charge of the show’s Twitter account sent out two pictures.
One of them has Law as Jessica Knight; another one has Wilmer Valderrama as Nick Torres.
While this might have been fun to do, some fans were not impressed.
Why? Well, Nick had recently been through his relationship with Bishop ending. The romance ended because actress Emily Wickersham, who played Bishop, left NCIS.
These fans shared their thoughts in the comments section with the photos.
One fan writes, “Nick’s telling her Ellie is coming back and she needs to get another desk.”
Another fan writes, “They have no chemistry so please don’t put them into a relationship.”
Monday Night ‘NCIS’ Shows On Hiatus Right Now; No Christmas-Themed Episodes Planned
Well, that probably sets the NCIS powers-that-be straight on any thoughts of having a Torres-Law connection.
And we should note, Outsiders, that NCIS as well as NCIS: Hawai’i are on hiatus right now. When do they return? On Monday, Nov. 29.
Also, will there be Christmas-themed episodes? No. In fact, all three shows in the NCIS franchise will not have one on the air. There will be plenty of Christmas programming on CBS, though. And if you really get a hunger for some holiday movies, then your best bet is the Hallmark Channel.
