Before the new episode of NCIS: Los Angeles tonight, Caleb Castille shared a great photo from the set of the new episode. It involves a bus and a big explosion.

Despite the chaos in the background of the photo, Castille is all smiles. His photo on Instagram got fans excited right before the premiere of the new episode tonight. It shows the aftermath of a dangerous situation that the agent got himself into. Rountree was supposed to be going undercover and it looks like he bit off more than he can chew. Check it out below.

He captioned it with a simple “Oops,” and a reminder to watch the new episode.

It was teased way ahead of the premiere of the episode that a bus and a bomb would be included. There is no telling where it might take our favorite young agent as he was on the bus as well. His first undercover assignment seems to have gone off with a bang. The episode, titled Sundown also featured Sam played by LL Cool J in a major role. He has to negotiate with the suspect on the bus.

NCIS: Los Angeles is getting ready to wind down to the midseason finale. Or perhaps wind up. Usually shows give a nice little cliffhanger before the big break in the winter. The man on the bus with the bomb wants his daughter’s war crimes to be posthumously cleared up. Meanwhile, Kensi and Deeks are weighing their options as far as adoption goes. They are really wanting to expand their family. Lots of new and interesting things going on this week with the LA team.

Will ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Answer Questions Surround Hetty

Right now, NCIS: Los Angeles leader and fan-favorite Hetty is on a secret mission. We don’t know a whole lot about why she has gone off to the Middle East and what she is doing there. However, we know if she gets caught, things aren’t going to be good for her.

Kilbride let her know that he didn’t approve of the mission. He even told her that if she is captured, the United States will just give her up. So, there will be no rescue mission. However, we doubt Deeks and Sam are going to sit idly by if they figure out Hetty needs help. There are so many questions surrounding the mission and viewers might not get answers for a while.

As this season of NCIS: Los Angeles continues, there will be other questions. Hetty’s story is a good one, but there are all the exciting things happening in Los Angeles on a regular basis. Take the bus bomb for instance. That’s another example of how the writers keep the short-term storylines so interesting.
