NCIS: Los Angeles star Caleb Castille used to be an Alabama football player. So he’s no stranger to sledgehammer workouts.

If you have played football at the high school level or above, then you have likely hit a tractor tire with a sledgehammer. The workout is nothing new. However, it is a good way to get some neglected muscles working and let out some frustrations. That’s what Castille did in his latest Instagram video.

Now, the NCIS: Los Angeles star isn’t on the gridiron anymore. So, he isn’t as big as he would have been in his playing days. Despite that, it looks like he still has some energy left in him. Check out the video below and see for yourself.

His post caption simply read, “SOMETIMES U JUST GOTTA VENT! #givemebiggermountains.” He followed that up with some words in the video as well.

Castille also provided some inspiration in his post. He can be heard saying something to the effect of, “You want to take some time off, you want to find relief here, find relief there. Neglect everything that got you there… Give me bigger mountains. Give me bigger mountains.”

The NCIS: Los Angeles actor must have been feeling motivational when he took the video. He was also wearing a weighted vest it appears, so that makes it an even better workout. The actor got a lot of love from friends in the replies and some jokes as well.

Even fellow costar Daniela Ruah commented on the post. She said, “Beast mode!!!” It’s nice seeing Rountree get support from Kensi Blye. Those young agents need a bit of support.

Now we just have to wait for a new NCIS: Los Angeles…

New ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ in the New Year

Look, it has been a bit of an NCIS: Los Angeles drought. Fans are dying for a new episode, but as far as 2021 goes, there are no new episodes. So, what does that mean? Well, it means fans will have to make do until January 2. It isn’t that far away.

By the time the holidays are over, it will seem like we blinked and arrived on January 2. However, before that, let’s talk about why this new episode is going to be worth the wait. One of the best parts about the show is how many different episodes that folks on the show itself have directed. Eric Christian Olsen has directed episodes in the past.

Now, for yet another turn behind the camera, Daniela Ruah herself will be directing. She hasn’t directed an episode since Season 12 Episode 11. However, Season 13 Episode 7 will be all her. NCIS: Los Angeles fans will want to tune in.
