Some NCIS: Los Angeles fans want a guest star previously on Hawaii Five-O to join the show full-time. Guest star Christopher Sean made major waves with his role as detective Jack Tanaka in the most recent episode.

Sean’s character had to help the team solve a vicious hate crime that hit very close to home. It’s his own father that’s subject to a vicious crime. The episode was incredibly hard-hitting and emotional for the team.

Now, fans want Jack to come back for a more full-time gig with NCIS. There’s definitely room for him. Renee Felice Smith and Barrett Foa left the cast last year. Gerald McRaney, who plays Kilbride, was then promoted to a full-time spot but nobody else has joined.

According to Express, NCIS: Los Angeles fans took to Twitter to express their desire to see more of Detective Tanaka. Lots of these fans have followed Christopher Sean’s career since his appearance on Hawaii Five-O

“@ChristopherSean Great job on @NCISLA! Please add him to the cast!” one fan wrote.

“So happy for Christopher and his much deserved ongoing success,” a Twitter user wrote.

“@ChristopherSean CONGRATS, great seeing you on my TV tonight… more please!” another fan said.

Meanwhile, some fans were excited to see just how well Sean can handle different roles. He’s typically cast as the bad guy, but in the episode, Jack is definitely a protagonist. In Hawaii Five-O, Sean played Gabriel Waincroft. Seeing Sean in a more positive role was exciting for fans of his.

But he’s also getting plenty of work elsewhere. He just played a huge part in Netflix’s hit series, You.

Next Weeks Episode of ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Has Fatima and Kensi Going Undercover

This week’s episode of NCIS: Los Angeles was incredibly heavy. While, of course, NCIS: Los Angeles episodes will never be a walk in the park, it looks like next week is a return to the action-packed fun. Fatima and Kensi will go undercover to get more information on an arms dealer.

The official description for the upcoming NCIS: Los Angeles season 13 episode says that “Sam and Kilbride clash when a case involving an arms dealer responsible for the slaughter of ATF agents leads them to a well-connected colonel and friend of Kilbride; Kensi and Fatima go undercover to question the arms dealer’s girlfriend.”

This NCIS: Los Angeles episode also will probably give fans more of a look at Kilbride. Whatever happens, it definitely sounds like an intriguing one. Will Kilbride’s friend be held responsible, or is the Admiral’s gut instincts that his friend is innocent correct?

If you want to catch the next episode of NCIS: Los Angeles, tune in on Sunday at 9/8 Central. Its sister shows, NCIS and NCIS: Hawai’i, air on Monday nights.
