‘NCIS: Los Angeles’: Fatima Actor Medalion Rahimi Revealed Her Favorite Actors

by Joe Rutland

Medalion Rahimi, who plays Fatima on NCIS: Los Angeles, does have quite an extensive list of who are her favorite actors.

She talked about them in an interview with Film Forums.

“I love Tilda Swinton,” Rahimi said. “She’s just incredible and so chameleonic. And I love Julianne Moore. And then Golshifteh Farahan is actually an Iranian actress that I look up to a lot.

“I’m hoping we might be working together soon,” she said. “I’m not sure, but it will be really exciting. Those are my top three. I also think Viola Davis is just incredible, such a powerhouse.”

Rahimi has been on NCIS: Los Angeles since Season 10 when she was a recurring character. Once Season 11 started, she became a member of the full-time cast.

Others in the cast include Chris O’Donnell, LL Cool J, Daniela Ruah, Eric Christian Olsen, and Gerald McRaney. The show airs on Sunday nights on CBS.

‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Star Lied To Get Her Place In Famed Musician’s Video

Now Outsiders, what would you do to get a place in your favorite musician’s video?

Well, Medalion Rahimi lied about her age so she could appear with Beck. How did the NCIS: Los Angeles star get away with it?

“I was in a Beck music video I found on my own,” she said in the same Film Forums interview. “I lied about my age so I could be in it. Beck and Charlotte Gainsbourg, I was like, ‘I would love to be in this.’ So you do what you gotta do!”

With that info drop on where she appeared in a video, where else might Rahimi have done film work?

“I did industrial commercials for prints that people would show at work to demonstrate how to use the print,” she said. Who sees those films and commercials? Just people who work in an office.

Gerald McRaney Talks About Being Inspired By Henry Fonda, James Garner

If you watch NCIS: Los Angeles, then you will know Rahimi acts alongside Gerald McRaney on the show. He plays Admiral Hollace Kilbride.

But McRaney also has quite a resume’ in his acting career.

“I got to work with Henry Fonda, once, and I got to work with [James] Garner a few times on ‘Rockford Files,'” he said. Garner starred as private investigator Jim Rockford on the NBC drama The Rockford Files.

McRaney’s most notable role was as District Attorney John Pleasance.

He played in the movie Get Low as Reverend Gus Horton.

McRaney said at the time, “I worked with Henry Fonda and he said of himself that he worked his tail off so that the audience wouldn‘t see the wheels turning. I think Sissy [Spacek] does that, too.”
