‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Star LL Cool J Celebrates Amazing Statue of Himself in Queens

by Anna Dunn

Iconic rapper and current NCIS: Los Angeles actor LL Cool J is celebrating an awesome statue of himself in Queens, New York. The pictures give fans a great look at the art piece.

“Anything is possible. [Fist Emoji, Rose Emoji] Statue of me in Corona Park, Queens by the talented @sherwintheartist” LL Cool J wrote in a new Instagram post about the statue. The photos illustrate an incredibly powerful statue of him.

It’s quite an exciting time for LL Cool J, and this statue is just icing on top of the cake. It’s incredibly well sculpted and pays homage to some of his greatest hits.

LL Cool J also recently snapped a picture with the President of the United States ahead of the 99th Christmas

Additionally, he’s been working very hard on the set of NCIS: Los Angeles. He’s played Sam Hannah since the show began and has done the character justice. He co-stars alongside G. Callen actor Chris O’ Donnell. Some actors have come and gone over the years, but those two have been consistent on the series since the start.

‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ is On Hiatus

Right now, you won’t be able to catch new episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles in its regular Sunday night slot. The show is going on a bit of a break in time with the holiday season. The next episode of NCIS: Los Angeles won’t air until January 2nd, 2022.

But that episode is particularly exciting for one cast member: Kensi Blye actress Daniella Ruah. Ruah has taken to directing the episode, which is titled “Last Soldier Down.”

Here’s the synopsis:

“NCIS investigates the apparent suicide of a Navy intelligence officer who leaped to his death after taking LSD. Also, while Kensi is away, Deeks makes plans to redo the backyard without her input, on the CBS Original series NCIS: LOS ANGELES, Sunday, Jan. 2 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+*. The episode is directed by series star Daniela Ruah”

While the first part of the synopsis looks dark, the Deeks plotline in the background will probably be pretty hilarious knowing them. And since it’s directed by the actress who plays Kensi Blye, there’ll probably be some great insight into their relationship.

It’s also not Daniela Ruah’s first rodeo. She’s directed an NCIS: Los Angeles episode in the past called “Russia, Russia, Russia.”

For now, if you want to catch old episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles featuring LL Cool J, Daniella Ruah, and the rest of the cast, you can go to Paramount +. There are also new episodes of NCIS and NCIS: Hawai’i airing tonight starting at 9/8 CT on CBS.
