NCIS: Los Angeles star LL Cool J poses with Brett Favre and Bebe Rexha in an awesome new picture. The two celebrities are repping LL Cool J’s new clothing line for his brand, Rock the Bells. Rock the Bells is a radio station that promotes hip-hop culture.
“Holding it down with @beberexha & brettfavre in the @rockthebells Hip-Hop is Essential Collection [fist emoji] NOW RESTOCKED!!! Shop on RockTheBells.Com,” LL Cool J writes in the Instagram caption.
LL Cool J is doing a ton of acting work now with NCIS: Los Angeles and other projects. But he’s an icon in the hip-hop world. Rock The Bells is just one part of a major music career he’s championed since the late 80s and is named after a famous song of his by the same name.
He’s won two Grammys and became the first-ever rapper to receive the Kennedy Center Honors. He’s also been inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of fame. Recently, LL Cool J had a touching tribute for late rapper Biz Markie at the 2021 Emmys on Sunday.
Still, LL Cool J didn’t stick to just music. He also launched a successful acting career where he eventually landed one of the lead roles in NCIS: Los Angeles as Sam Hannah. He’s still happily on board as the show heads into its thirteenth season next month.
‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Lost Two Key Cast Members Last Year
LL Cool J has led the show with Chris O’ Donnell since the start, but not all actors have stuck around. Just last year, two of NCIS: Los Angeles’s main actors, Reneé Felice Smith and Barret Foa, left the show. On the show, Ll Cool J’s characters said goodbye to their characters, Nell and Eric, as they headed to Tokyo to start new lives.
Both of the actors left the series on amicable terms, and it’s already been teased that Reneé Felice Smith could come back as Nell in the future. For now, however, she’s enjoying her time away from NCIS: Los Angeles, pursuing independent projects and taking some time to vacation in Colorado.
There are still plenty of returning cast members coming back for season 13, however. Hetty actress Linda Hunt is making a long-anticipated return, and Eric Olsen and Daniela Ruah who play Deeks and Kensi are also coming back. Gerald McRaney, who plays Admiral Kilbride, is going to be a bigger presence than ever as he’s joining the show as a regular. And Chris O’Donnell will have plenty to do playing G. Callen.
If you want to catch season 13 of NCIS: Los Angeles it airs on Sunday, October 10th. While you wait, you can catch NCIS and NCIS: Hawai’i which release new episodes on Monday nights.
