If you’re both a fan of the Power Rangers and NCIS: Los Angeles, get excited about Sunday’s new episode.

That’s because the Pink Power Ranger herself is guest-starring in the episode called Divided We Fall. Christina Masterson played Emma Goodall on Nickelodeon’s Power Rangers Megaforce from 2013 and Power Rangers Super Megaforce in 2014.

On NCIS: Los Angeles, she’ll play a character called Lily Song. CBS hasn’t revealed any details about tonight’s guest stars. Sandrine Holt portrays Laura Song. She’s probably familiar to TV fans, too. She’s had recurring roles on Law & Order: SVU, 24 and The L Word.

Somehow, both the Songs will fit into the following NCIS: Los Angeles synopsis supplied by CBS. “When an NCIS mission to protect a compromised undercover agent goes completely sideways, the agents are individually interrogated to find out what really happened. Also, Kilbride must make a difficult decision.”

From CBS promotional photos, it appears that the Songs are involved with a Callen (Chris O’Donnell) storyline.

The only other guest star listed in the episode is Ashwin Gore, who has guest-starred on 9-1-1, Unbelievable, and SEAL Team. He’s playing a character named Akhil Ali, who is with the Office of Naval Intelligence.

Will Callen Continue to Track Katya in Tonight’s Episode?

A continuing plot through the early season 13 of NCIS: Los Angeles involves Callen and his attempts to find out more about his early years. After his Romanian mother died, he was sent to foster care. Callen didn’t handle it well and ended up in juvenile detention. That’s where Hetty (Linda Hunt) first found Callen. Or so we thought.

In the season 13 NCIS: Los Angeles premiere, Callen sifted through Hetty’s old files. That’s when he discovered one she kept on Callen back when Callen was in middle school. Hetty ran a program that identified potential spies among the foster care system. It was similar to a program Russia ran. That program produced Anna and Katya.

Callen confronted Hetty, who admitted to some of the details. But now Hetty is off in Syria, taking care of a case from last season. Callen hired a former Russian asset to spy on Hetty while she’s in Syria.

Meanwhile, Callen also is tracking Katya. He found her ex-girlfriend, Angela, in the last episode. Angela is deathly afraid that Katya will come back. But she gave Callen a mysterious key.

So maybe the Songs will extend the Callen NCIS: Los Angeles storyline.

You’ll also notice that Kilbride (Gerald McRaney) plays prominently in Sunday’s plot. Kilbride now has Hetty’s job, so he’s running the NCIS show. Showrunners added McRaney to the permanent cast this summer before season 13. According to CBS, he’ll make a difficult decision in the episode. Keep it with Outsider for more details.
