The good news for NCIS: Los Angeles fans is that the show is just two days away from returning from hiatus. But you still have to wait two days, yuck.

In the meantime, the official NCIS: Los Angeles Instagram page is trying to keep fans calm. They have posted a bunch of photos and videos leading up to the return. Viewers are just about at their limit without new Marty Deeks and the rest of the team in their lives.

In the latest clip, we see Deeks sitting down with Sam and Callen in the office. As they sit down, Deeks gets off the phone with Kensi. She’s in Mexico. The guys assure him she’ll be fine. Then, Deeks brings up the fact he wants to redo the backyard as a… zen garden? Check out the video below.

Thankfully it seems that Callen and Sam were able to talk Deeks out of the home renovation project. It’s best to just leave things alone when it comes to big projects if your spouse is in another country. Maybe the zen garden was more for Deeks than anyone else. If he wants one, then maybe he should make a small one in the corner of the yard?

“Stay zen,” the post caption read. The replies were full of viewers and fans laughing and reacting to the clip. They were also clamoring for a return of the show. NCIS: Los Angeles has a lot of loyal fans and they are ready to see this season continue this Sunday.

‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Coming Off Hiatus

It has been since before Thanksgiving since a new episode has aired. The show is returning with some action and drama in Los Soldier Down. This is going to be a sensitive story that involves a Navy intelligence officer and what looks like a suicide. Is there more to it than that?

The synopsis reads, “NCIS investigates the apparent suicide of a Navy intelligence officer who leapt to his death after taking LSD. Also, while Kensi is away, Deeks makes plans to redo the backyard without her input.” It seems that Deeks might just go all-in on that zen garden, huh?

One of the more interesting parts about the episode is that Daniela Ruah directed it. The Kensi Blye actress got behind the camera and did her work. Fans get excited for these episodes directed by cast members. IT gives the show a new look and a fresh feel at times.

NCIS: Los Angeles also has another episode teed up for January 9. That episode, A Land of Wolves is set to air the second Sunday of the new year. “The NCIS team scramble to find Kensi when she is attacked and kidnapped by a mysterious militia group while helping a group of migrants cross the border,” the synopsis reads.

It sounds like a great return to the season is just around the corner.
