Although we haven’t had a new episode of “NCIS: Los Angeles” since before Thanksgiving, there’s been no shortage of content for the fans. At the start of this month, for example, one of the actors made headlines after being arrested on set in connection to manslaughter. But on the other hand, in happier news, Eric Christian Olsen and Daniela Ruah have been hard at work behind the scenes to bring the show back better than ever.
Both have taken on bigger roles with the project since joining the show as part of the main cast. This includes directing, producing, and even writing together as a dynamic duo. Olsen, the man behind Deeks, just shared an Instagram post with fans teasing them ahead of this Sunday’s epic comeback. And, sure, he’s dreamy as ever, but that’s not why the fans are taking notice of the photo…
Could This Really Be the Last Season of ‘NCIS: Los Angeles?’
Here’s the snap that the “NCIS: Los Angeles” star shared to Instagram on this fine New Year’s Eve. It shows our beloved goofy Deeks with a more serious look on his face as he totes an “NCIS”-branded vest and gun. The Mexico geotag stands out a little, but that’s not what people are talking about either.
Check it out and see if you can spot the strange part:
Notice anything off? No? Go ahead and study that caption. Three words are sending fans into an absolute spiral in the comment section. The final season? First Betty White’s passing and now this? I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to put 2021 in the permanent rearview.
It’s hard to know what to make of it. There hasn’t been any official word that the show’s been canceled yet and some fans are convinced it’s a harmless prank, but only time will tell.
Eric Christian Olsen Leaves Fans With Some Inspiring Messages Ahead of the New Year

Eric Christian Olsen wants the fans to know that surviving such a strange year is an accomplishment in and of itself. He shared several inspiring messages across his Instagram Story in reference to New Year’s resolutions.

So with that, Outsiders, we can’t wait to grow with you as we welcome 2022!
