NCIS: New Orleans star Lucas Black is in the process of filming a new movie and he’s doing so in some pretty extreme conditions.

By now, we all know and love Lucas Black thanks to his role on CBS’s NCIS: New Orleans. He starred on the show from 2014-2019, playing the role of Special Agent Christopher LaSalle.

There is no denying that Lucas Black is most recently known for his time on the popular NCIS spinoff. But in addition to his role there, he has also made appearances in several other television shows and films as well. Some of those works include things like American Gothic, Sling Blade, Flash, Crazy in Alabama, All the Pretty Horses, Friday Night Lights, Jarhead, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Get Low, Legion, and Seven Days in Utopia.

That’s quite an impressive list, right? Well, Lucas Black is getting ready to add another film to his resume. He took to his official Instagram account on Saturday evening to post some shots from his recent film shoot in Colorado. And by the looks of it, he and the rest of the cast and crew had to film during the middle of a snowstorm.

“It was an incredible week working in adverse conditions,” Black captioned the photos. “High winds, snow, and cold temperatures with the wind chill in the single digits. It took a team effort to accomplish what we did this week. There were a lot of action scenes as well as emotional ones. Families will enjoy this adventure film. My hope is that Fathers and sons will be uplifted and encouraged while being entertained.”
