The holiday season is upon us, Outsiders! And even Lucas Black is getting a nice Christmas break from his latest acting job. If you are a fan of military crime dramas, then there is a good chance that you know Black from his role on NCIS: New Orleans. He starred on the show from 2014 until 2019, playing the role of Special Agent Christopher LaSalle.

In addition to Black’s work there, he has also made appearances in several other TV shows and movies. Some of those works include American Gothic, Sling Blade, Flash, Crazy in Alabama, All the Pretty Horses, Friday Night Lights, Jarhead, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Get Low, Legion, and Seven Days in Utopia. So, there’s a good chance you’ve seen him somewhere.

Meanwhile, it won’t be long before we get to see Black in something new. While we don’t have all of the specific details, the star actor has been sharing updates from his latest project on social media. And he did that once again by posting a set of photos on Sunday evening.

“Finished work for the holiday break,” Black captioned the photos. “Thank you to the whole team involved in this project. No one was scared of covid and came to work with a smiling face. I would imagine how a working environment could be for everyone involved and this production exceeding my expectations. God first, everyone on board with the message, and you can see everyone’s smiling faces (no mask). No fear in this group. We overcame obstacles and got the job done.”
