“NCIS” star Brian Dietzen has come out on Friday in support of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees strike.
Dietzen, who plays Dr. Jimmy Palmer on the CBS drama, sent a message out through Twitter.
Outsiders, the threat of a strike looms over Hollywood. IATSE members and Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers members are in talks to reach an agreement.
According to an article from Deadline, the IATSE wants a new three-year contract that covers issues of increased pay for the likes of assistants and script coordinators, meal break penalties, increased rest period, and more.
Heading into the weekend, IATSE members have been making plans to set up 21 picketing sites on Monday morning.
These IATSE members are people who work on TV shows like “NCIS” in different studios. They were told on Thursday to make sure their time cards are complete and take their belongings and kits home by day’s end on Friday if possible.
Dietzen has been a part of “NCIS” since 2004. The actor was added as a regular cast member in 2012. Other TV series he’s been in include “My Guide to Becoming a Rock Star,” “Boston Public,” and “Perception.” He also played Palmer in “NCIS: New Orleans.”
‘NCIS’ Star Talks About How He Keeps Himself In Shape For Acting Work
Actors like to keep themselves in shape for their roles. The “NCIS” star is definitely part of that troupe.
Yes, Dietzen does make sure Dr. Jimmy Palmer has a pretty killer physique.
What is his strategy? He stays true to a similar workout path each day.
But Dietzen will focus on specific body areas in his routine. Don’t expect him to follow the line that happens with other celebrities. They hire personal trainers for help.
Not Dietzen. He puts together his own workout routine. But the “NCIS” actor told Watch! magazine he is inspired by P90X workouts.
