‘NCIS’ Star Katrina Law Is Doing ‘Very Serious Work’ in Behind the Scenes Photos

by Shelby Scott

After a weeks-long hiatus, “NCIS” finally returned to screens Monday night and it comes as a welcome start to 2022. That said, as Katrina Law keeps things strictly professional on screens, she seems to loosen up a little behind the camera, doing some “very serious work” when not recording. Check it out.

The behind-the-scenes photos capture the “NCIS” star out on the streets, presumably in between shoots. Behind the actress sits what looks like two Dodge Chargers, the kind of vehicles we typically see our beloved team roll up in, and former “Suits” star, Amanda Schull.

Fans immediately took to the comments to share their love not only for Katrina Law, but also Schull.

“KATRINA!!!!! omg I can’t believe I’m gonna see the two of you working together…I love you both so much…thanks for the pics!” wrote one adoring fan.

No, it doesn’t seem as though Schull has taken up a role as one of our brand new “NCIS” agents. However, if you watched Monday night’s midseason premiere, then you probably caught sight of the actress in a guest-starring role.

One fan highlighted, “I remember Amanda from ‘One Summer’ on Hallmark and ‘One Tree Hill’! She was great in ’12 Monkeys’ too! She is killing it on [NCIS] tonight!”

The Monday night episode saw Amanda Schull starring alongside Katrina Law as Kay Barlow. Unfortunately, the role will not be recurring, however, it did put the 43-year-old actress in the position of the “bad guy.” The dynamic between the plot of the episode and the silly pics above definitely highlight Schull’s talent as a multifaceted actress.

‘NCIS’ Plans to Bring Back Fan-Favorite Recurring Character

While Amanda Schull won’t appear in the role of a recurring character, “NCIS” fans and cast members alike are more than pumped for the return of one recurring face.

Remember immunologist and friend of former “NCIS” forensic scientist Abby Sciuto, Carol Wilson? Don’t feel bad if you don’t as she’s only appeared three separate times in the 19-season series.

Regardless, played by actress Meredith Eaton, the brilliant scientist returns in several upcoming episodes, with her last appearance taking place way back in season 11. And, as showrunner Steven D. Binder states, Eaton “brings [a] wonderful energy” to the series.

For those pumped about the actress’s long-awaited return, you likely have “NCIS” star Brian Dietzen to thank. While we’re used to seeing the beloved medical examiner in his element at the heart of “NCIS,” Dietzen actually took part in writing the second half of the current season.

The Jimmy Palmer actor celebrated his success with a selfie of himself and Eaton, captioned with, “Sometimes you get to write something for tv. And sometimes that means you get to hang out with friends you haven’t seen in far too long.”

Altogether, the second half of “NCIS’s” season 19 looks to be a starstudded one, and we can’t wait to see what our favorite characters have in store for us.
