The holidays are upon us, and that includes the “NCIS” set. Katrina Law recently posted a (literally) sweet photo of custom-made cookies from Hello Sweeties, a bake shop in Texas. The cookies are perfectly decorated in the shapes of Christmas trees, gingerbread men, and ornaments iced with “NCIS”.
“Your cookies were a hit, yet again @hellosweeties.tx!,” Law wrote on Instagram. “The cast and crew of @ncis_cbs loved them.” Co-star Brian Dietzen commented on the photo, writing, “They were incredible!”
The recent “NCIS” episode was a big one for Katrina Law’s character, agent Jessica Knight. The episode, titled “Collective Memory,” centered around a mother-daughter relationship that had gone awry. The victim, Sandra, and her daughter Ruby hadn’t spoken in years. When Sandra’s assistant tells the team of their falling out, Knight says she understands, which leads us to believe that she has some issues with her own mother.
Torres is the one to get through to Knight about her mother. According to Knight, she and her mother hadn’t spoken in months. Apparently, they fought a lot, which led to a disconnect between them. She explains to Torres that it’s complicated. Torres says that if they love each other, it’s not that complicated. So, when the case wraps up, Knight reaches out to her mother.
‘NCIS’: Katrina Law ‘Nails’ Gingerbread House
“NCIS” star Katrina Law has been getting into the holiday spirit lately. She shared her forays into gingerbread house making on her Instagram page, and let’s just say, her caption hits it right on the money; it looks like something from “Nailed It!” with Nicole Byer.
In the video, she shows fans what the house is expected to look like. It’s Disney-themed, with Mickey Mouse-shaped candies and icing piped in the shape of Mickey’s head. Even a little Mickey-shaped topiary to put out front. Then, Law shifts the camera to show off her masterpiece.
It’s honestly beautiful, in the most chaotic sort of way. Icing and sprinkles everywhere, the delicate icicles becoming a torrent of icing down the side of the house, like an avalanche hit it. Haphazard candy bits. It’s an explosion of holiday cheer.
The “NCIS” star seems to love Christmastime and all things holiday; she used to star in Hallmark Christmas movies, after all. Her most recent Hallmark movie was “Christmas with the Darlings” from 2020. She also starred in “12 Gifts of Christmas” in 2015 and “Snow Bride” in 2013. Her sister-in-law actually wrote two of those movies, so Hallmark movies run in the family, apparently.
Also in the holiday spirit, if you want a laugh, there’s an old video floating around of Law and “Spartacus” co-star Dan Feuerriegel trying to make caramel apples and failing miserably. If you love Katrina Law’s special sense of humor, this is a must-watch.
